Yesterday, we went and ate at Burger Revolution, a restaurant that was featured on You Gotta Eat Here, and it was incredible. I honestly have never had a better burger in my life, so if you’re in Belleville, ON, anytime, you should check it our for sure. Now on to my biggest addiction—television and what we’re recommending tonight.
Megan’s Choice
It’s the end of an era as True Blood comes to an end tonight with the series finale. Over the past seven seasons, we’ve fallen in love with vampires, werewolves, and even fairies. There’s been drama, sex, and humor. I don’t know about you, but while there have been a few bumps along the road for the series, overall it’s been so amazing. There will be a hole in our TV world without this show, yet I’m ready to see how it’s going to end.
On tonight’s episode, “Thank You,” Sookie weighs a future with and without Bill. Eric and Pam struggle with their uncomfortable partnership with Mr. Gus. Sam makes a choice, while Andy comes upon an unexpected inheritance.

Tonight, the first season of The Last Ship comes to a close. In last week’s episode, Rachel tested her vaccine on members of the ship’s crew. While at first it looked like none of the human trials would survive, Rachel discovered her mistake, which led to proof that she had not only come up with a vaccine but also a cure! Meanwhile, we got to see what has been happening back home with Chandler’s wife, father, and children. In the style of The Walking Dead, the uninfected would make day trips to gather supplies while trying to avoid the infected and other hostiles. However, after Chandler’s wife had a run-in with an infected body, it looks as though she is now infected and likely spreading the disease to the rest of the family.
Will the ship return home in time to save the captain’s family? What about the rest of the crew’s loved ones? How will they mass-produce the cure/vaccine, how long will that take, and how will they distribute it? And are the Russians still on their tail? I’m looking forward to an action-packed season finale that will no doubt leave us hanging for next season!
On tonight’s episode, “No Place Like Home,” Chandler and the crew journey home in the Season 1 finale. Also, a political power player battles a menacing warlord; and Chandler tries to find his family, only to unearth a terrifying reality about the new world.
