Earlier this week, I had a great time at the 8th Annual Syfy Digital Press Tour event in Orlando—we had panels with the cast/creators of many Syfy series and got exclusive access to the Harry Potter parks at Universal Studios. I’ll be posting write-ups and videos soon at NoReruns.net, but right now, I’m finishing up the week visiting with my parents. Due to all of this, I’ve fallen way behind on my TV this week, having only watched three episodes of TV since Saturday! But in case you are all caught up on your DVR backlog, we’ve got a couple of suggestions for you to check out tonight.

Tonight at midnight, Newsreaders returns to Adult Swim (Cartoon Network) for a second season. This hilarious Childrens Hospital spin-off is a parody of news magazine shows like 60 Minutes. I really enjoyed the first season of fake news stories led by anchor Louis LaFonda (Mather Zickel), but this year, Reagan Biscayne (Alan Tudyk, Firefly) takes over the fake news desk. And the season looks like the season will be chock-full of fun, amazing guest stars—Billy Ray Cyrus, Malin Akerman, Rob Huebel, Rob Riggle, Martin Starr, James Urbaniak, Tom Lennon, Danny Pudi, Scott Adsit, Jenna Fischer, Mel Cowan, Ryan Hansen, Marc Evan Jackson, Steve Little, Harold Perrineau, the Sklar Brothers, David Wain, and David Hasselhoff.
On tonight’s premiere, “F-Dancing, Are You Decent?” the prom is threatened by a new dance. Also: Clavis Kim answer the question: “Are you a racist?”
Check out the funny tonight on Adult Swim/Cartoon Network at 11:59/10:59c.
I’ll also be recording Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, How to Get Away with Murder, Bad Judge, A to Z, Parenthood, and Gracepoint.
Jump with us to see else we think you should watch.

I’m sure you will all be super surprised to find that I’m suggesting yet another cooking show for you to watch—okay, you may not be surprised, but you still should tune in to watch Food Truck Face Off because it’s so much fun. This show has four teams of two people—all with the dream of owning their own food truck—pitch their ideas for the business and give tastes of the food to the judges, the judges then pick two teams who get to make their dreams a reality for a two day competition, with the winner getting their food truck business. Insane, isn’t it? There have been some good ideas and some bad ones; personally, I’m still wondering why a few weeks ago, the food truck that won had a mac’n cheese ball but… That must be an American thing… Gross! I would have much rather eaten the yummy Hawaiian-looking kabob from the other team, but I guess it all comes down to personal taste and what the people wanted to buy. Truthfully, if I had the funds to open a food truck, I’d do it in a minute! What about you? What would your food truck be?
On tonight’s episode, “Charnow Park Chowdown,” the judges have a tough choice deciding which two teams of food truck wannabes should fight it out in Miami, Fla. Host Jesse Palmer takes the teams through their paces over the two sell days, with manic driving and panic prep fails on day one and the struggles of facing increased competition on day two.
To see if these teams can handle the true challenge of a food truck, tune in to Food Network at 8/7c.
I’ll also be watching Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, How to Get Away with Murder, Gracepoint, The Vampire Diaries, and Beat Bobby Flay.
