I’m having a busy weekend—family in town and all that—but a good one. And it’ll end great, since there’s some good stuff on tonight. Megan’s busy with her family, so it’s just Kyle & me tonight, so check out what we’re recommending.

I wrote this up for two weeks ago, but because football ran over so late both that week and last, it didn’t air. So you get my lovely view again because I’m still recommending it. 😉 And I’ll continue to recommend it each week until it FINALLY airs. LOL
CSI is my pick for tonight because I do love it, and tonight looks like it’ll be a fun episode. The last new ep was great too—a chemistry teacher was killed accidentally when the killer—another teacher at the school and a mother to one of the students—was trying to kill a student. She was part of a group of Wiccans and hoped (believed?) that she could cast a spell using the other kid’s blood that would heal her son, who was very, very sick. It was an incredibly sad but a really great episode.
On tonight’s episode, “Girls Gone Wilder,” Morgan, Sidle, and Finlay try to relax at a forensics conference when a mass shooting occurs on site.
See the women go wild tonight on CBS at 10:30/9:30c.
I’ll also be watching/DVRing America’s Funniest Home Videos, Guy’s Grocery Games, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Holiday Baking Championship, Catch a Contractor, & Cutthroat Kitchen.
Jump with us to see else we think you should watch.

Good news, everyone… Even though Futurama was canceled (again), our favorite futuristic delivery crew makes a return appearance tonight on FOX in a special “Simpsorama” crossover episode of The Simpsons. Leave it to Bart to wreak havoc 1000 years in the future, thereby forcing the Planet Express gang to head back in time to prevent the disaster from happening. While Bender and Homer easily bond over their love of beer, the rest of the group find things a little more difficult.
I really enjoyed tonight’s special episode—there are some really hilarious interactions between these different characters. I wish more comedies and animated shows would do these kind of cross-over episodes, as it’s always a lot of fun to see characters from different shows interact or appear in each other’s environments. Tonight’s episode was a really nice treat and a wonderful chance to see all of the Futurama characters one more time (and yes, they made sure pretty much everyone shows up at some point).
On tonight’s episode, “Simpsorama,” the Planet Express crew from Futurama comes to present-day Springfield to prevent the Simpsons from destroying the future. Billy West, Katey Sagal, John DiMaggio, Maurice LaMarche, Phil LaMarr, Lauren Tom, and Tress MacNeille make guest-voice appearances.
Check out the fun cross-over event tonight on FOX at 8/7c.

And speaking of shows coming back… One of my all-time favorite HBO comedies, The Comeback, makes its own comeback tonight as well. The series only ran for a single season back in 2005. It followed then forty-something former sitcom star Valerie Cherish (Lisa Kudrow), who had faded out of the limelight but was preparing to make her return to network TV. Down on her luck and desperate for the return of her fame and fortune, Valerie agreed to allow a reality film crew to follow her on her quest to regain her former glory. However, things were not a simple as easy as she hoped, and Valerie often found herself in awkward and embarrassing situations.
I absolutely loved this series when it first aired, so I was so excited to hear that it was coming back for another 8-episode season almost a decade later. I can’t wait to see how Valerie’s career and personal life have progressed (or possibly regressed) since we last saw her and what new ways she will find to embarrass herself this season. Is she still allowing a reality show crew to film or, or will we just be a fly-on-the-wall this time around?
On tonight’s premiere, “Valerie Makes a Pilot,” Valerie produces her own pilot for a reality show that she hopes will get picked up by a cable network but discovers that her archenemy, Paulie G., has his own series in the works with a plot that sounds all-too familiar.
To see the fun this second time around, tune in to HBO at 10/9c.
I’ll also be watching/recording Madam Secretary, The Good Wife, CSI, Once Upon a Time, Resurrection, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Family Guy, Mulaney, The Walking Dead, The Newsroom, Getting On, Homeland, and The Affair.
