Overnight was the series premiere of Doogie Kamealoha, M.D. on Disney+. In Doogie Kamealoha, M.D., 16-year-old prodigy Dr. Lahela “Doogie” Kamealoha (Peyton Elizabeth Lee) juggles a budding medical career with the daily challenges of teenage life. At the hospital, Lahela’s genius confounds both patients and colleagues, who dub her “Doogie” after the 90s TV series Doogie Howser, M.D. At home, her doting dad, Benny (Jason Scott Lee), and her career-driven mom, Clara (Kathleen Rose Perkins), the hospital’s Chief of Medicine and Lahela’s boss, fear she’s growing up too fast. Lahela struggles to operate in two very different worlds and stay balanced. Fortunately, her free-spirited older brother Kai (Matthew Sato) and idiosyncratic younger brother Brian Patrick (Wes Tian) help keep her grounded. Steph (Emma Meisel), her wisecracking best friend, can always be counted on to lighten the mood, frequently climbing through Lahela’s bedroom window to costar in TikTok videos or dish on Lahela’s crush, Walter (Alex Aiono). Fellow medical residents Noelani (Mapuana Makia) and Charles (Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman), as well as hot-shot heart surgeon Dr. Lee (Ronny Chieng), joke about the obvious gap in age and interests but genuinely respect Lahela’s expertise. With support from her caring –and comical — ohana (family and friends), Lahela is determined to make the most of her teenage years and forge her own path.

From mastering molecular gastronomy for the cast of Peacock’s Saved by the Bell to cooking in a culinary smackdown for WWE Superstars and creating a meatless menu for an NFL tailgate with the LA Rams, the chef duos are put to the test in a series of creative and suspenseful Quickfire and Elimination Challenges. Each week, the pairs will showcase their culinary prowess and teamwork for guest judges and special guests, including Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who challenges the chefs to make a dish highlighting luxury ingredients, such as truffles, caviar and sea urchin, while Jojo Siwa tasks the duos to wow the judges by sight and taste in a sweet dessert spectacle. Keeping it in the family, Top Chef Host Padma Lakshmi, Head Judge Tom Colicchio and an array of alums stop by the kitchen to lend their expertise, including Kwame Onwuachi, Shirley Chung, Nyesha Arrington, Brian Malarkey, Amar Santana, Chris Cosentino, Kelsey Barnard Clark, Sheldon Simeon, Mei Lin, Richard Blais, Melissa King, Brooke Williamson, Gregory Gourdet, Nina Compton, Stephanie Izard and Shota Nakajima. To avoid elimination, the chef duos will also have to impress culinary leaders Josiah Citrin, Michael Cimarusti, Dominque Creen, Susan Feniger, Chris Ford, Timothy Hollingsworth, Amirah Kassem, Nathan Myhrvold, Nancy Silverton and Sherry Yard. At the end of the epic epicurious journey, only one chef duo will be crowned the winner along with the grand prize including $50,000 furnished by Capital One. Along the way, the chefs will participate in special challenges for the chance to win exciting prizes including $10,000 provided by Hellmann’s, another $10,000 sponsored by State Farm (R), a trip and tickets to an NFL Sunday Night football game, tickets to WWE’s Wrestlemania, a trip to Universal Orlando Resort’s three amazing theme parks and a visit to the FOOD & WINE Test Kitchen.

Tonight is the series premiere of It Couldn’t Happen Here on Sundance Channel at 10/9c. Life-long small-town community member and advocate Hilarie Burton Morgan (One Tree Hill) visits different small towns in an effort to shine a much-needed light on the unique ways in which crime impacts rural communities and their judicial systems. Too often the heartbreaking events in these towns are largely overlooked because they lack the national media platforms and advocacy resources found in larger cities. In each episode, Hilarie hears the facts of the case from family members and local insiders in an attempt to understand the challenges the community faced investigating the crime, learn the lasting imact the crime has had on the fabric of the town, and ultimately call attention to where justice currently stands.

Tonight is the complete limited series premiere of LuLaRich on Amazon at 12:01AM/11:01PMc. The four-part docuseries features explosive interviews with co-founders DeAnne and Mark Stidham, former employees, and hard-working “independent distributors,” who sought out a better life for their families – only to encounter what many allege was a full-blown pyramid scheme.

Tonight is the complete first season premiere of Pretty Hard Cases on IMDB TV at 12:01AM/11:01PMc. The fun and irreverent buddy-cop series follows two radically different female detectives in their early 40s. The action-packed series follows two women who are at the top of their respective games: the optimistic, over-achieving guns and gangs detective, Samantha Wazowski (Meredith MacNeill, Baroness von Sketch Show) and the tough, unapologetic drug squad detective, Kelly Duff (Adrienne C. Moore, Orange Is the New Black). It’s not until their chance meeting during a takedown that Sam and Kelly realize they’re going after the same target… and they couldn’t disagree more on strategy, and pretty much everything else. However, they are forced to put their differences aside in their quest to dismantle the Stockwoods, a Toronto street gang dealing drugs and wreaking havoc on the community. As the season unfolds, we’ll learn that despite their differences, they’re both grappling with loneliness, dysfunctional families, screwed-up love lives, and a sense that their professional ambitions may not be totally in line with their personal needs. Through various experiences, they learn that their unlikely friendship may be exactly what they need to help them find balance on and off the job… if only they didn’t drive one another utterly insane. Starring Meredith MacNeill, Adrienne C. Moore, Tara Strong, Karen Robinson, Dean McDermott, Al Mukadam, Percy Hynes White, and Katie Douglas.
