Tonight is the series premiere of A Spy Among Friends on MGM+ at 10/9c. In England in 1963, Nicholas Elliott works for MI6 as an intelligence officer but is left in turmoil when he learns his close friend and colleague, Kim Philby, had been secretly working as a double agent for the KGB, defecting to the Soviet Union. Based on the New York Times best-selling book written by Ben Macintyre, the show stars Golden Globe- and Emmy-winning actor Damian Lewis (Homeland, Billions), Emmy winner Guy Pearce (Jack Irish, Mare of Easttown), and Anna Maxwell Martin (Motherland, Line of Duty).

Tonight is the series premiere of Naked and Afraid: Solo on Discovery Channel at 10:03/9:03c. Naked and Afraid survivalists have endured the most grueling environments on earth and proved the value of teamwork in overcoming brutal conditions. In this all-new series, eight of the franchise’s most battle-tested survivalists will attempt to endure 21 days completely SOLO. This arced series takes place in some of the most remote and harshest environments in the world – and in locations spread out over three continents. Whether it’s a bug-infested South American rainforest, a frigid African scrubland or a blistering Mexican jungle, each episode follows multiple survivalists as they take on the most difficult challenge of their lives. With no one to lean on for help, their success depends solely on their own ingenuity, skills and will to survive. Enduring 21 days naked with a partner is hard enough. Enduring 21 days solo will test the most experienced survivalists in the world – and bring many to their knees.

Overnight was the complete first season premiere of Agent Elvis on Netflix. It stars Matthew McConaughey, Kaitlin Olson, Don Cheadle, Johnny Knoxville, Niecy Nash-Betts, & Tom Kenny.

Overnight was the Disney+ special Bono & The Edge: A Sort of Homecoming, with Dave Letterman. Academy Award-winning filmmaker Morgan Neville captures Dave Letterman on his first visit to Dublin to hang out with Bono and The Edge in their hometown, experience Dublin, and join the two U2 musicians for a concert performance unlike any they’ve done before. The special coincides with U2’s highly anticipated album “Songs Of Surrender” ― a collection of 40 seminal U2 songs from across the band’s catalog, re-recorded and reimagined. This is part concert movie, part travel adventure plus a whole lot of Bono and The Edge, with Dave’s humor throughout. As well as the concert performance itself, the docu-special will focus on the extraordinary relationship between Bono and The Edge and how it has developed across 45-plus years of close friendship and one of the most remarkable songwriting partnerships in the history of rock ‘n’ roll, plus document Dublin through Dave’s eyes as he experiences Bono and The Edge’s home city for the first time.

Overnight was the premiere of the feature film The Magician’s Elephant on Netflix. A determined boy accepts a king’s challenge to perform three impossible tasks in exchange for a magical elephant — and the chance to chase his destiny. It stars Noah Jupe, Mandy Patinkin, Brian Tyree Henry, Natasia Demetriou, Sian Clifford, Benedict Wong, Miranda Richardson, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Aasif Mandvi, Pixie Davies, & Dawn French.

Overnight was the premiere of the feature film Leave on Shudder. An abandoned infant is found in a cemetery in the United States. The child is wrapped in a blanket with satanic symbols. A Wolf’s Cross pendant hangs around her neck. 20 years later: Hunter is obsessed with finding out why she was abandoned and who her biological parents are. A genetic test, the blanket and the Wolf’s Cross lead her to Norway. Hunter is closing in on the terrifying truth, but visions of a dark figure warn her: LEAVE! It stars Alicia von Rittberg, Herman Tommeraas, & Stig R. Amdam.

  3. Sam says:

Ted Lasso premier is a day early, according to another site: “Apple TV+ has released the first extended look at Ted Lasso Season 3, premiering Wednesday, March 15”, it’s in the Tuesday list above.

    • Jenny says:

As always, when a show airs at 12:00 AM Eastern, I put it on the day before, since 2/3 of the country will see it when it IS still the day before. 🙂 So Ted Lasso is airing on Wednesday at midnight (well, 12:01 AM) for those in ET, but for Central, Mountain, & Pacific, it airs on Tuesday night. 🙂

      • Jodi says:

They must be new here. Anybody who has used this site for awhile knows this is how you list these shows, and we appreciate you doing it that way! Thank you for all your hard work Jenny! I’d be lost w/o you!! I appreciate you, Thank you for existing!!
