There’s so much great TV on right now that it’s tough to keep up. For every show that ends its season, there seems to be another new or returning show ready to take its place. For example, tonight is the season finale of Two and a Half Men and Glee, but also the season premieres of Wipeout and Small Town Security. I highly recommend checking out tonight’s hilarious episode of The Graham Norton Show with guests Chris Pine, Benedict Cumberbatch, Kim Cattral, and Bonnie Tyler, but here are some additional things we suggest you tune in to this evening…
This Dan Harmon-less season of Community hasn’t felt all that different to me. It’s had its ups and downs, just like the three prior seasons. Last week, we got the origin stories of the Greendale study-group members—including the genesis of Magnitude’s “Pop Pop” catchphrase—and learned that their lives have crossed paths before. It seems that their fates were destined to come together. Meanwhile, Chang was plotting to destroy Greendale, but had a “chang” of heart once he was welcomed into the study group. We discovered that Chang had been working with the head of City College.
Tonight’s episode could very well be the series finale, as NBC has made no announcement yet as to the show’s fate. I’m a little concerned if they are revisiting the darkest timeline—they may be trying to squeeze too much into a series finale. Will everything be wrapped up in case tonight is the final episode? Is the plot with City College over, or has it already been set in motion? Will Jeff graduate, and if so, what happens if the show continues for another season? I’m interested to see where they leave things tonight with the fate of the series unknown.
On tonight’s episode, “Advanced Introduction to Finality,” Jeff ponders the future after he receives enough credits to graduate. Elsewhere, the group revisit the darkest timeline.
See the season (or series?) finale tonight on NBC at 8/7c.
I’ll also be watching/recording The Big Bang Theory, Elementary, Grey’s Anatomy, Community, The Office, Hannibal, Glee, Giving You the Business, Men at Work, The Graham Norton Show, and Zach Stone is Gonna Be Famous.
