Another week has passed us by, and I don’t know about you, but I had a great week. Earlier this week, I was lucky enough to head out to a concert, and while not all the Americans will know who they are, I saw Down With Webster. They were great and completely deserving of of their recent Juno nominations. The opening bands were also fabulous, and while I enjoyed USS, I really loved OCD: Moosh & Twist. They were a hip-hop duo (with a killer DJ backing them) from Philly, and I wish they were the main performers, so I could have heard more of them. If you haven’t heard them or even if you have, look them up on YouTube. You’ll be glad you did. Now, back to the most important part of why you come here – TV! Let’s see what you should all be watching.
Megan’s Choice #1
Last week’s Grimm was amazing and so very creepy. The twist on Hansel and Gretel was so well done that I was enthralled from the first minute of the episode. My heart broke for the street kids, and when they finally caught the villains responsible, I cheered when the evil doctor burned in the fire. Was I alone? At the end of the day, there aren’t enough words to express how hooked I am on this show and how much I believe you should be watching.
On tonight’s episode, “Tarantella,” Nick and Hank find themselves on the hunt for a deadly heartbreaker leaving behind a web of dead bodies. Meanwhile, Nick’s growing recognition among the creature world is starting to threaten not only his safety, but Juliette’s, as well, and it may be time for him to take action to keep her safe. Amy Acker (Dollhouse, Angel) guest stars.
