Recently, Hart Hanson and Geoff Stults took the time to speak with journalists about their new show, The Finder. Hart Hanson (creator of Bones) has created another soon to be hit. Stults is adorable, witty, and absolutely perfect in the leading role of Walter.
The Finder follows Walter Sherman, an Iraq war veteran, who has always had a knack for finding things. After he was involved in an explosion, he received brain damage and was discharged. He did get a parting gift, though – his skill of finding things became even more potent and he became: a Finder. Walter can find almost anything for almost anyone. Once he takes a case, there is nothing that stops him until he finds what he set out to find.
Along for the ride is his legal advisor, Leo (Michael Clark Duncan), who was once a lawyer, but after tragedy struck his life, he became a big teddy bear. The whole show is centered around the Ends of the Earth bar, which is owned by Leo and where they all live and work, making them into a perfectly dysfunctional family.
This show is not to be missed, and if you don’t want to take my excellent word for it, check out the interview with these two dashing, talented men. They’ll convince you to at least give it shot. Continue reading →
The other day, Executive Producers Hart Hanson & Stephen Nathan spoke to the press about the upcoming season of Bones. If you remember, at the end of last season, Bones (Emily Deschanel) told Booth (David Boreanaz) that she was pregnant and he was the father. Hart, Stephen, & the writers chose to write her pregnancy into the show when Emily told them she was pregnant. Fans everywhere went wild. some were dismayed, some were overjoyed, but a lot were worried about how it would affect the show and the duo’s chemistry.
Hart and Stephen talked about that and more, so check it out after the jump! Continue reading →
Hart Hanson, the Creator/Exec Producer of one of my favorites, Bones, spoke with the press earlier this week about the rest of the season, the Booth/Bones relationship, Emily Deschanel’s (Bones herself) real life pregnancy, the “spin-off,” and his thoughts on next season. He was so fantastic to talk to. You can tell he really loves what he does, really loves the show and the cast, and is really excited about the new show. Check out the great answers he gives below!
More on the crossover episode
Well, my worry if that the Bones fans will feel away from their Bones people more than they would be comfortable unless these guys charm them instantly, which I hope happens. The only character from Bones who doesn’t appear in it to work with Walter and Ike and Leo is Sweets. Everyone else is in it and interacts with him. So I hope we’re not away too much but at the same time, we had to make an episode that showed what these other characters can do and show them together enough that we would see what a series with them would look like. So it’s quite an experiment. It’s a really good question. I guess we’ll know Friday morning how the Bones fans took to Walter, Ike and Leo.

I had the honour to interview Hart Hanson and Emily Deschanel from Bones recently and it was fabulous! They are both very gracious and the banter between them was hilarious. If you haven’t watched Bones yet, you are committing a crime against television at it’s best. For those who know the series and love it, you’ll be excited to hear tidbits of information about the finale, and other details on the series. I’ll include my questions and some of the great questions from my fellow digital journalists. Interview after the jump. Continue reading →
