How many times have you been in the middle of an episode of TV when a song comes on and you love it, but you don’t recognize it? It’s happened to me a ton, and it’s always a pain to figure out what it was. The information is usually out there, but it’s hard to find. Not so, anymore. Back in 2006, a guy created heardontv.com, which allows users to submit songs heard in their favorite TV shows. The submissions are moderated, and if approved, they then appear on the site. Another cool thing is when it’s available, a link to buy the song online is provided, and when a song is free online (legally, of course!), a link to the download is provided, as well.
That’s pretty cool, but that’s not all. I know not everyone watches TV at their computer like I do, which is why the new app (available on iTunes & Google Play) for your phone or tablet is really quite handy. I don’t know too many people who are TV obsessed like I am that aren’t within arm’s reach of their phone or tablet while they do anything, let alone while they watch TV each night.
Here’s all their info:
Website: heardontv.com
Phone/tablet app:
Google Play
iTunes
Enjoy!
