Interview with Hart Hanson and Geoff Stults from The Finder

Recently, Hart Hanson and Geoff Stults took the time to speak with journalists about their new show, The Finder. Hart Hanson (creator of Bones) has created another soon to be hit. Stults is adorable, witty, and absolutely perfect in the leading role of Walter.

The Finder follows Walter Sherman, an Iraq war veteran, who has always had a knack for finding things. After he was involved in an explosion, he received brain damage and was discharged. He did get a parting gift, though – his skill of finding things became even more potent and he became: a Finder. Walter can find almost anything for almost anyone. Once he takes a case, there is nothing that stops him until he finds what he set out to find.

Along for the ride is his legal advisor, Leo (Michael Clark Duncan), who was once a lawyer, but after tragedy struck his life, he became a big teddy bear. The whole show is centered around the Ends of the Earth bar, which is owned by Leo and where they all live and work, making them into a perfectly dysfunctional family.

This show is not to be missed, and if you don’t want to take my excellent word for it, check out the interview with these two dashing, talented men. They’ll convince you to at least give it shot. Continue reading

Interview with LeRoy Bell from The X Factor

One of my favorite contestants on this season of The X Factor was LeRoy Bell. Unfortunately, he went home before his time. He did, however, take the time to speak with journalists about his time on the show and what comes next.

On why he chose this show

LeRoy: Well, really, in the beginning I didn’tknow that much about the show. My buddy, Stan, told me about the show and I really didn’t think about it seriously at first. And then he said there was no age limit. He told me it was going to be a big show and I could get some publicity because I’ve been playing around on my own. I’ve got a band and we’ve been touring around the United States, but we could never get past the opening act and so I wanted to get that publicity and that’s what attracted me to it.

Interview with Colin Ferguson, Eddie McClintock, & Emily Rose from Eureka, Warehouse 13, & Haven

To get readers ready for the Syfy lineup of Christmas specials, Colin Ferguson (Eureka), Eddie McClintock (Warehouse 13), and Emily Rose (Haven) recently spoke to the press. It was kind of a chaotic call, but it was incredibly fun, as well—like it always is with these guys.

On Eureka, Carter and Allison try and plan the perfect Christmas for their kids but are surprised when they find themselves—and the rest of the town—animated. For Warehouse 13, it’s not a wonderful life for the Warehouse team when Pete discovers a world in which he’d never been born. Finally, on Haven, Audrey is surprised to see Christmas decorations suddenly popping up all over town—even though it’s July!

Interview with Charlie Rowe, Rhys Ifans, Anna Friel, & Writer/Director Nick Willing from Neverland

Neverland is a two-part miniseries, airing on Syfy tonight, Sunday, December 4th, and Monday, December 5th at 9/8c. It is a prequel to the Peter Pan story we all know. Writer/Director Nick Willing describes the mini-series as “a story of who & where Peter came from, who he was. Where the lost boys came from, how they ended up in Neverland and what Neverland is and why it’s full of pirates and Indians and fairies and crocks and why it’s magical and why it is that Peter doesn’t want to grow up.”

I recently had the opportunity to participate in a conference call with three of the stars, Charlie Rowe (Peter Pan), Rhys Ifans (Jimmy Hook), and Anna Friel (Captain Bonny), as well as writer/director Nick Willing. Check out the highlights from the conversation after the jump! Continue reading

Interview with David Alan Basche from The Exes

David Alan Basche, who plays Stuart Gardner in TV Land’s newest comedy, The Exes, recently spoke to me about the new show, his role, and how it is to work with a small cable network like TV Land. He was a really nice guy, and I really appreciated his time.

In The Exes, divorce attorney Holly (Kristen Johnston) introduces her newly-single client Stuart (Basche) to his new roommates—ladies’ man Phil (Donald Faison) and homebody Haskell (Wayne Knight)—who share an apartment which Holly owns. Things start off a little shaky when the two bachelors have reservations about living with clingy Stuart, but Holly is right across the hall to help them avoid any catastrophes. To top it all off, Holly’s assistant, Eden (Kelly Stables), doesn’t exactly let her professionalism get in the way of prying into her boss’s personal life.

Check out the great answers from David after the jump! Continue reading
