It’s a bit of a slower night tonight because of the political debate. I’ll be SO glad when November has come and gone. I’m so tired of politics and all the crap that goes with it—especially all the ads on TV and making me miss shows! *grump* Even so, there’s some great stuff on tonight (including the return of Covert Affairs, which is reaching high points in drama!), so check out what we think you should be watching, and be sure to let us know if you’re going to take our genius advice. 😉

I’m particularly excited about tonight’s season premiere of Flashpoint on ION. It started airing a few weeks ago in Canada (lucky Megan!), but for the US viewers, tonight’s our first chance to get a look at the team after last season’s tense finale. Poor Parker has been put through the wringer emotionally. Team One’s leader was having problems in his personal life, but he’s finally begun mending fences with his teenage son. The relationship between Sam and Jules was discovered, and we thought they might be told they had to split—either personally or professionally—but at the end of the finale, Parker gave them the news that they were able to stay together and stay on Team One, which is awesome. Ed is still working on the team, and things with his wife are better than they were. The finale left off with the team and their families at the annual team picnic, where everything was great. Even Wordy was there. I hope that doesn’t mean bad things are headed our way for season five… Eek!
On tonight’s premiere, “A Broken Peace,” with help from the fugitive’s daughter, Team One searches the city in pursuit of James Mitchell, an armed and extremely volatile man who is hunting his ex-wife. Ed is forced to take a tragic shot that he was not prepared to take.
Don’t miss the pulse-pounding action tonight on ION at 11/10c. Learn where to find episodes online of Flashpoint @ Clicker.
I’ll also be watching/DVRing Raising Hope, Dancing with the Stars, Ben and Kate, 19 Kids & Counting, Chopped, Covert Affairs, Chef Race: U.K. vs U.S., & Sons of Anarchy.
