It’s finally Friday, the end of a long week. I’ve felt icky all week, which is odd, since my sleep schedule’s been normal. Last night, I woke up at 4:30 in the morning, so maybe it’s turning around. *grin* Everyone give props to Adam, from TVDoneWright.com, who has been fantastic this week. If you enjoyed hearing what he thought you should watch, let him know! Anyway, still some good stuff on TV tonight. What are you planning on watching?
 

Jenny’s Choice

My choice tonight is something I’ve recommended a lot recently, but I can’t help it. I adore this show. My husband is in love with “The ‘Stache” and the humor is just fantastic.

On tonight’s episode, Jack and Dan investigate a spurious inspection report at a corrupt oil company, but they discover that they may have accidentally stumbled upon a deadly criminal conspiracy, and they find that Liz’s boyfriend is stuck right in the middle of it. Fans of Liz and Jack, cross your fingers. Maybe Liz’s boyfriend will be on his way out after tonight? 😀 Don’t miss it tonight on FOX at 9/8c.

TV News – 10/20/10

I still feel like an elephant is sitting on my chest, this pneumonia thing bites the big one, especially while I’m pregnant. Damn cold and flu season. 🙁 Okay, rant over, let’s look at some news.

Chris Klein (American Pie), is going to be appearing on The Good Guys as Jack’s (Colin Hanks) old partner, George. His character is said to use his charm and connections to move through the ranks of the police department, because he’s not quite the sharpest tool in the shed. This is one of Klein’s first projects since his little visit to rehab after another DUI. What do you think of this casting? Source

It’s the end of another week, and I honestly can’t believe how fast it’s flown by. Where is the time going?? My kiddo is off school today, but grounded because of grades, so it should be a FUN Friday. *rolls eyes* lol Anyway, I hope you are geared up for the weekend! Let’s see what the networks are offering up to give us a head start tonight. 🙂
 

Jenny’s Choice

I’m so excited about tonight’s episode of The Good Guys, because the storyline promises to be even funnier than normal. This show honestly just cracks me up every week, and I’m really, really, really disappointed the ratings aren’t better than they are! If you haven’t watched it before, give it a chance. I promise, you won’t be sorry!

On tonight’s episode, after the ex-governor’s son (guest star Ethan Suplee, My Name Is Earl), who was rescued by Dan and his former partner 25 years ago, is kidnapped by drug dealers, Dan is framed for the crime and forced into hiding. With Dan on the lam, Jack must find the real kidnappers and prove his partner’s innocence, while Dan, out of options, must turn to an old partner, the legendary Frank Savage (guest star Gary Cole). We are constantly hearing stories about Dan and his old partner Frank, so seeing them in action should be a real treat! Find out tonight on FOX at 9/8c.

Lisa’s Choice:

Away we go!  Your caped crusader may be in the final season of his show, but what a show it is!  Smallville is at its finest in its finality!  Tonight, Kara returns to Earth and tells Clark that Jor El has sent her in order to stop the dark force that is approaching.  Lois confronts a disc jockey who is crusading against heroes after he makes a major threat on the Green Arrow.  Get your superhero fix on tonight on the CW at 8/7c.

If We Controlled Your Remote… 10/1/10

I don’t know about you, but it truly has been a long week. Dealing with a preteen and school, not being able to sleep much for some reason, and other things like that makes for a pretty cranky Jenny. Hopefully I’ll be able to catch up on sleep this weekend, which will help with the crankiness! Anyway, some good stuff on tonight, so let’s get to it!
 

Jenny’s Choice

I don’t want this show to end up in the same fate as Lone Star earlier this week, so my recommendation tonight is the freshman drama, Blue Bloods. I really enjoyed the series premiere last week, and I’m hoping episode 2 gives me just as much to smile about. The cast is what makes the show for me, although I like the premise and storylines so far, too. Donnie Wahlberg and Tom Selleck were great, as I knew they would be, but I also quite enjoyed Bridget Moynahan, Will Estes & Len Cariou as well.
