Short and simple today… I’m feeling icky and just wanna get off my computer, Megan’s dealing with a sick kiddo, and JJ’s had a busy weekend, so Kyle & I are here to make our recommendations for tonight (& then I’m crashing). It’s a busy night with some great stuff on, so see if we can help you narrow it down.
I’m really enjoying the new NBC show Crossing Lines. I love the authentic feel it has to it. The accents don’t seem fake or forced, the locales are fantastic, and the story lines are really great. It’s a different take on cop shows, which are my favorite, so that’s fun to see. We’ve now learned more about Louis’s (Major Daniels) sad story, the death of his son. I hope we’ll continue to find out more to help get him closure. Last week was great because it dealt with truckers who basically set up and kidnap couples that are traveling with their young children, in order to have the adults basically fight to the death against each other. The loser couple’s child was then kept and raised by the mechanic who helped them and his wife. The graves all over the field and then the children walking through at the end? Heartbreaking.
On tonight’s episode, “Special Ops Pt 1,” when a wealthy teenager is taken hostage, the ICC team has to move fast to track the kidnappers. Meanwhile, Anne-Marie finds a connection to a similar case in Florence as the team races to rescue the boy. Elsewhere, Dorn and Louis soon discover an unexpected link to their arch enemy Alexander Dimitrov (guest star Marcel Iures), which puts their lives in danger.
Find out what kind of danger they’re in and if the team can find the hostage tonight on NBC at 10/9c.
I’ll also be watching/DVRing Food Court Wars, HGTV Star, Food Network Star, & Whodunnit?.
