Tonight, ABC’s hilarious four-week musical comedy event Galavant comes to a close. When we last left off, Galavant and his crew had made their way to the castle but were captured and thrown in the dungeon. Galavant’s big reunion with Madalena didn’t go as he had hoped—he professed his love, but she returned the favor by ordering Gareth to kill Isabella and torture the rest of them. However, Galavant seemed to have finally realized his feelings for Isabella, which gave him to the revived spirit to storm out of the dungeon, declaring he would save the day. Meanwhile, we learned that Richard was actually the second choice for king, as his brother didn’t want the job when they were young children. However, Kingsley has now returned to reclaim his throne.
How will it all end? What is Galavant’s big plan? Will Richard keep his kingdom, or will Madalena move on and marry Kingsley to maintain her lifestyle? Will Galavant save the day and live happily ever after with Isabella? With just 2 episodes and 4 songs left, I’m really excited for tonight’s big conclusion but also sad that tonight’s episode is the (hopefully just “season”) finale!
On tonight’s first episode, “My Cousin Izzy,” Galavant finally gets his chance to be a hero when King Richard challenges his brother to a duel and requires someone to fight for him. Then, in “It’s All in the Executions,” a plot to kill Kingsley is hatched before his duel with Richard.
See who takes (or keeps) the crown and if Galavant gets his woman tonight on ABC at 8/7c.
I’ll also be watching/recording CSI, The Simpsons, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Family Guy, Bob’s Burgers, Downton Abbey, Worst Cooks in America, Sons of Liberty, Togetherness, Looking, Shameless, Episodes, and Mike Tyson Mysteries.

Argh! While one brother/one half of the Gig Harbor Killer escaped on the last CSI, after forcing Daniel Shaw to kidnap Maya (Russell’s daughter & the only victim of the Gig Harbor Killer who was able to get away), the other escaped after having been shot. Don’t ask me which one… I think it was the non-jailed one, but whichever one it was doesn’t matter. He’s out there, which means that story line is still open. I was glad to see that Shaw wasn’t really as bad a guy as I’d thought. They’d kidnapped his daughter to force him to do their bidding. He was shot but survived and asked Finlay to track down his daughter’s grandmother so she didn’t get lost in the system, since he would most likely be heading to prison for at least a little while once he was released from the hospital.
This is a shortened season of CSI, with only 18 episodes, although TPTB have said that doesn’t necessarily mean this is the final season. We’ll see about that, I guess, although it scares me because they are burning the rest of the episodes off pretty darn quick. There are two episodes tonight, another episode on Thursday, and then after a repeat next Sunday, the final two episodes of the season will air on February 15. So I don’t know what to think. I really enjoy the show—it’s a fun procedural where I don’t have to worry about relationships and I can just sit and watch my favorite genre of TV—so I’m hopeful this isn’t the end, but it wouldn’t surprise me. It’s getting ready to end its 15th(!!) season, though, so if it does end, it’ll have had a better run than most shows.
On tonight’s first episode, “Merchants of Menace,†the CSI team investigates a homicide at a convention for people who collect macabre murder memorabilia. Skyler Stone, Mekenna Melvin, Dominic Hoffman, Greg Evigan, Rob Estes, & Bobby Campo guest star. Then on the second episode, “Hero to Zero,†the CSI team investigates the murder of a young victim dressed as a superhero. Greg Finley, Tonia Raymonde, & Leif Gantvoort guest star.
To see the team track down the killers, tune in to CBS at 9/8c & 10/9c.
I’ll also be watching/DVRing Galavant, The Great British Baking Show, Guy’s Grocery Games, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Worst Cooks in America, & Cutthroat Kitchen.
