Last week was another great episode of Bones. A TV celebrity chef was killed, and leads took Booth and Brennan to the Royal Diner. Thankfully, they were innocent. The killer turned out to be the chef’s producer, who was angry that the chef was looking to partner with someone new. The best part of the episode was Hodgins, who — after advice from squintern Jessica — invented a new product that protected beakers and other glass products from breaking. It could be used to wrap around breakable products or as flooring in case they’re dropped. Then he sold it…for forty million dollars to start out with. Crazy. That’s good for Hodgins & Angela, who lost all their money when Pelant stole it.
I’m worried about Booth and his gambling. I know it’s going to affect his relationship with Brennan, so I worry how much it’ll affect it, especially now with her being pregnant. Tonight’s two episodes should shed more light on it, but I’ve got my fingers crossed that it isn’t too bad!
On tonight’s first episode, “The Lost in the Found,†when the remains of a private high school student are discovered in a ditch, Brennan and Booth surmise that bullying was a factor. When Brennan discovers similarities between her own teen years and the victim’s, it leads the team to question whether or not the girl’s death was, in fact, a murder. Then on “The Verdict in the Victims,†with only 48 hours before the execution of serial killer Alex Rockwell, whom Brennan and Booth helped convict, the Jeffersonian team must race against the clock to confirm Brennan’s new suspicion that Rockwell may not have been responsible for those crimes.
To see Booth, Brennan, and the team solve the cases, tune in to FOX at 8/7c.
I’ll also be watching/DVRing The Big Bang Theory, Beat Bobby Flay, & Lip Sync Battle.

Last week’s 2-hour episode of Grey’s Anatomy was a bit of a mess — it felt more like a season/series finale or a May Sweeps stunt. Instead of giving us Meredith grieving over the loss of her husband, the show flew through months of storyline (with Meredith mostly missing), mixing up all of the characters and relationships we’ve come to know. Webber proposed to Catherine, who said no…but a few time jumps later, she returned the proposal. Bailey and Ben argued (for months) over their beliefs about end-of-life care. Amelia relapsed after learning of her brother’s death. April disappeared to go on a tour of duty to forget about her baby. And finally, we saw Meredith give birth to a new baby girl named Ellis — and when the nurse announced that her husband was there, Alex walked in.
Why didn’t we see Christina during all of this? Did Alex and Meredith really get married, or did she just list him as her emergency contact? Who is the father of Meredith’s baby? If it’s not Derek’s, she certainly didn’t waste much time moving on after he died! I kind of wish they had just written Meredith off the show along with Derek. But it will be interesting to see how things move forward with all of the shake-ups from last week.
On tonight’s episode, “Time Stops,” a disaster unfolds and demands the doctors’ attention, forcing them to put their grieving aside for a time.
See how the doctors are handling things after Derek’s death and the year that went by tonight on ABC at 8/7c.
I’ll also be watching/recording The Big Bang Theory, The Odd Couple, Elementary, The Blacklist, Bones, The Comedians, and Dig.
