Tonight is the series premiere of Guilty Pleasures on Food Network at 10/9c. Over six episodes, visit the locations and meet the chefs behind some of the most decadent food masterpieces, through the eyes of some of the biggest names in the culinary world today. The series features Richard Blais, Daphne Brogdon, Anne Burrell, Bobby Flay, Duff Goldman, Alex Guarnaschelli, Carla Hall, Robert Irvine, Katie Lee, Lorraine Pascale, Rachael Ray, Curtis Stone, and Fabio Viviani, along with actors Valerie Bertinelli and comedian David Alan Grier, all revealing their guilty pleasures. From a 24-layer chocolate cake, to a mega-bacon cheeseburger, to a filet mignon covered in fried oysters, Guilty Pleasures shows off dishes whose very names make your stomach rumble.

Tonight is also the series premiere of The Island on NBC at 10:01/9:01c. In the six-episode series, internationally acclaimed adventurer and survivalist Bear Grylls offers men from across the country the ultimate challenge: Can the average American man survive on a deserted island without the luxuries – or even the basics – of contemporary everyday life? “Man has never been further from his hunter-gatherer origins,” said Grylls. “We take food, shelter, warmth for granted; we click buttons rather than test our resourcefulness. I want to find out what happens when you strip people of all the comforts of modern life, does 21st Century American man still have it in him to fight for his survival? Or has that incredible pioneering spirit been lost forever? The Island sets out to answer that question.” Based on the hit Channel 4 U.K. series of the same name, the show doesn’t include any of the usual reality show trappings. There are no prizes. No eliminations. No winner. The six episodes will leave 14 American men isolated on a deserted island committed to filming every moment themselves with only the clothes on their backs and minimal survival tools.

Tonight is the series premiere of The Briefcase on CBS at 8/7c. This new reality series features hard-working American families experiencing financial setbacks who are presented with a briefcase containing a large sum of money and a potentially life-altering decision: they can keep all of the money for themselves, or give all or part of it to another family. Each week, two families have 72 hours to learn details about each other’s challenging circumstances before making the weighty decision of what to do with the $101,000. However, what they don’t know is that the family with whom they are considering sharing this financial windfall received an identical briefcase with the same instructions. Throughout their journeys, relationships within both families will be tested and beliefs questioned as they find out what really matters most in their lives, and how much importance they place on values such as love, generosity, compassion, and faith.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Bullseye on FOX at 9/8c. The show will challenge four men and four women to test their bodies and brains in three ultimate challenges that ask nothing more than for them to hit the bullseye — literally. Kellan Lutz (The Legend of Hercules, The Twilight Saga) hosts, while comedian Godfrey (The Godfrey Complex) will serve as co-host. Bullseye’s fierce “weekend warriors” will participate in three levels of extraordinary challenges, all of which involve using their bodies like human darts to hit targets — on land, sea and air. As the rounds advance in this fun-for-the-family summer series, only those with the sharpest aim move forward. The first challenge finds the eight competitors vying to hit the center of a stationary target while leaping from a moving 18-wheeler, being pulled by a helicopter or acting as a human slingshot being projected hundreds of feet through the air. In round two, the remaining four competitors — two men and two women — race to hit as many targets as possible. These competitors may be aiming for targets while descending down a building or jumping between two racing speedboats. In the third and final challenge, the remaining three competitors race against the clock to conquer the ultimate test and hit the final bullseye.

Tonight is the 2-hour series premiere of Aquarius on NBC at 9/8c. Los Angeles. 1967. Sam Hodiak (David Duchovny, Californication, The X-Files), a decorated World War II vet and homicide detective, barely recognizes the city he’s now policing. Long hair, cheap drugs, rising crime, protests, free love, police brutality, Black Power and the Vietnam War are radically remaking the world he and the Greatest Generation saved from fascism 20 years ago. So when Emma Karn (Emma Dumont, Salvation, Bunheads), the 16-year-old daughter of an old girlfriend, goes missing in a sea of hippies and Hodiak agrees to find her, he faces only hostility, distrust and silence. He enlists the help of Brian Shafe (Grey Damon, True Blood, Friday Night Lights) — a young, idealistic undercover vice cop who’s been allowed to grow his hair out — to infiltrate this new counterculture and find her. The generational conflict between the two is immediate and heated, yet they’re both dedicated officers and soon realize the need to bring Emma home is more urgent than they foresaw. The immediacy arises because she has joined a small, but growing, band of drifters under the sway of a career criminal who now dreams of being a rock star: Charles Manson (Gethin Anthony, Game of Thrones). Ringing with the unparalleled music of the era, Aquarius is a sprawling work of historical fiction that begins two years before the 1969 Tate-LaBianca murders. It’s a shocking thriller, a nuanced character drama and, in the end, the story of how we became who we are today.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Hoarders: Family Secrets on Lifetime at 9/8c. This new chapter in the Hoarders series features original stories of people who obsessively hoard to the point that collecting overwhelms their families and their lives. The series kicks-off with a one-hour special focusing on a Massachusetts family and will feature live segments culminating in an all-live intervention. The episode will also feature the story of a second, recidivist hoarder who faces jail time if he doesn’t pass a final city inspection. Whether facing eviction, divorce, broken relationships or the removal of minor children from their homes, all the hoarders are in desperate need of help. The series will follow them as they embark on the biggest transformations of their lives and reveal their secret hoards to loved ones for the first time. The experts featured this season are Dr. Suzanne Chabaud, Dr. Robin Zasio, Dr. Michael Tompkins, Dr. Scott Hannan, Dr. Melva Green and Mark Pfeffer. Cleanup and organizing team include Dorothy Breininger, Matt Paxton, Cory Chalmers, Standolyn Robertson and Darnita Payden.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Smile on Lifetime at 10/9c. Can you imagine having teeth so damaged it hampers leading a normal life? Some individuals have such poor dental conditions that they can’t fathom dating, working, or even leaving homes due to the extreme distress, pain, and embarrassment they experience daily. Now, Lifetime is offering these people a second chance with Smile (#Smile), an all-new makeover series documenting the emotional, psychological and physical journey of transformative dental procedures. Over the span of six hour-long episodes, a team of renowned dentists will work with twelve patients from all over the country. The dentists include New York-based Dr. Amir Ahmadi, Dr. Debra Glassman and Dr. Ramin Tabib, and Dr. Kimberly Knopf and Dr. Bill Dorfman in Los Angeles. Facing some of the most challenging dental conditions they’ll ever see, these specialists apply their expertise to restore their clients’ smiles, giving them the ability to reclaim their confidence and pride.

Finally, tonight is the series premiere of 3AM on Showtime at 11:59/10:59c. Ever wonder where the night will take you in the city that never sleeps? Take a penetrating joyride into the bizarro world of late-night New York City. 3AM is a high-energy documentary series that follows a cornucopia of characters — drag queens, artists, escorts, and other insomniacs — all trying to turn fantasy into reality while flaunting every rule in the book. Anything goes at this hour, so leave all inhibitions at the door. While most respectable folks are tucked in at home, the bolder and braver outlaw set are out defying the norms of acceptable and conventional behavior in a search for love, sex, fame and notoriety that can only come as the clock strikes 3.
