Last week on The Big Bang Theory, Sheldon had an earworm stuck in his head and annoyed Penny and Leonard as he constantly tried to figure out what song it was. Meanwhile, Raj and Howard discovered their band already had a fan after just one performance. They stalked and tracked him down but quickly changed their minds about meeting him after witnessing him picking his nose at the coffee shop. And finally, Amy decided to move on, begrudgingly calling Dave – Sheldon’s number one superfan – for a second date, this time dinner at her home (with the possibility of more). Sheldon unknowingly interrupted the date, professing his love and kissing Amy. However, Amy’s date didn’t seem to mind. He was thrilled to finally meet Sheldon and lived the moment vicariously through her.
I was really happy to see Sheldon and Amy get back together last week. They make a really great couple. (Though I have really enjoyed guest star Stephen Merchant, and I hope they find a way to bring Dave back in a future episode.) If the gossip is true, tonight’s episode should be a big one for Amy and Sheldon, with the couple taking a gigantic leap forward. So I’m anxious to see how their relationship progresses from here.
On tonight’s episode, “The Opening Night Excitation,” Prof. Proton visits Sheldon in a dream and gives him Obi-Wan Kenobi-like advice about whether to go see the new Star Wars film or spend the time with newly reunited girlfriend Amy on her birthday. Meanwhile, Leonard, Howard, and Raj try to decide who will get their extra ticket to the movie premiere.
To see what step Shamy takes and who goes to the movie with the guys, tune in to CBS at 8/7c.
I’ll also be watching/recording Life in Pieces.

Running Wild with Bear Grylls is a family favorite around here, but when I heard that President Obama was going to go on one of Bear’s crazy adventures, I was definitely excited. There’s something to be said about the way Bear gets down to the truth with everyone he’s with, and I’m interested to see how he relates to the president. Honestly, the fact that President Obama is willing to do this speaks volumes about him in my opinion. It should be a great episode.
On tonight’s episode, “President Barack Obama,” Bear takes President Barack Obama on an adventure in the Alaskan wilderness. We will see the Commander in Chief as we’ve never seen him before, as the two men traverse a dense forest and walk across a glacial outwash at Alaska’s famed Exit Glacier, where they observe the remarkable effects of climate change first hand. From wild salmon and catkins tea made with melting glacial water to s’mores, Bear gives the President a true taste of Alaska. Their off-the-script chat reveals the President’s thoughts on his official duties, family life at the White House, parenthood and his own faith.
Find out how the president and Bear handle Alaska tonight on NBC at 10/9c.
I’ll also be watching The Big Bang Theory, 2 Broke Girls, Chopped, Beat Bobby Flay, Mom, and Elementary.
