Tonight, Undateable closes out its live season with a special 1-hour finale. I’ve had mixed feelings about this past season. I really like the idea of a live show and the fun/danger that adds – What could go wrong? or Who will mess up their lines or experience some sort of prop malfunction? Most of this cast comes from a stand-up-comedy background, so they are used to performing live, and it shows. They have great chemistry and work really well together, and adding Whitney Cummings into the mix was a great decision. It’s also impressive that they’ve been doing live shows for both the East and West Coasts. The one thing that bugs me about this new live format is how the actors will often break character to make personal jabs at one another to solicit a reaction. While this may be funny, it completely takes me out of the show and makes it feel more like I’m watching actors interact on stage rather than watching characters come to life in a story.
I’m not sure how the show has been doing in the ratings or if it even has a chance of returning for a fourth season. But I’m sure tonight’s double-episode finale will go all out and probably feature a bunch of fun cameos like the season premiere. Plus, this week’s musical guest will be the Backstreet Boys!
Catch the live 1-hour finale tonight on NBC at 8/7c.
I’ll also be watching/recording Grimm, MasterChef: Junior, Second Chance, and Childrens Hospital.

I’ve been an especially big fan of MasterChef: Junior this season because there wasn’t really any single kid that I didn’t like. These kids are brilliant in the kitchen and all have bright futures if they choose to continue cooking. One of my favorites this season has been Addison, and I was thrilled when she made it into the finals. I think Zac should’ve been in the finale with her because he was stronger for most of the season, but Avery cooked a good enough dish last episode to beat him out.
I’ve seen tonight’s finale…up to the point where the winner is announced, of course (thank you very much, FOX press site. LOL), and it’s a great finale. Both kids present amazing meals, leaving the judges with a very hard decision to make.
On tonight’s episode, “The Finale,†Addison and Avery will compete head-to-head and prepare the most important menu of their lives.
Find out which talented junior home cook will earn the MasterChef trophy and a $100,000 prize tonight on FOX at 8/7c.
I’ll also be watching/DVRing Last Man Standing, Undateable, American Diner Revival, Grimm, Second Chance, & Burgers, Brew & ’Que.

Grimm has been having a solid season, with an intriguing central story arc as well as some fantastic character growth moments. Personally, I’m hoping that Nick and Adalind end up together as a couple sooner rather than later, but I have a feeling that’s going to be put on the back burner for a bit.
In the fall finale, we saw some shop owners assaulted in what appeared to be a gang initiation, except Nick knows better because of the Wesen sign found at the scenes. The group gets a tip on where they’re going to meet and arrest the ring leader, but it’s an ambush, and they are taking a lot of fire when a strange woman who resembles Juliette appears to help. I’m very interested to see where this twist goes, but I really hope that it doesn’t lead Nick back to with Juliette, because in my opinion, that ship has sailed.
On tonight’s episode, “Eve of Destruction,” Nick seeks answers about Juliette’s shocking return. Monroe and Rosalee alert the Wesen Council about the rising violence in Portland.
To find out exactly what is going on with Juliette, tune in to NBC at 9/8c.
I’ll also be watching MasterChef: Junior and Second Chance.
