Tonight is the series premiere of The Hunt on BBC America at 9/8c. The show is narrated by famed naturalist Sir David Attenborough. Through character driven stories, it illustrates in dramatic detail the strategies predators use to catch their prey (and those that the prey use to escape), with each episode centering on one of our planet’s key habitats. From open grasslands and dense forests to the arctic and the open ocean, the cutting-edge seven-part series features rarely seen wildlife and animal behavior — revealing like never before the challenges predators and prey face in these very different worlds.

Tonight is the series premiere of Idris Elba No Limits on Discovery Channel at 7/6c, with three more episodes, including the season finale at 10/9c. Actor and producer Idris Elba will push his body, mind, and engineering know-how to the limit by racing on land, water and in the air for a new four-part series. Idris will immerse himself in rally driving, street racing, aerobatics and power boating to master not only the discipline of racing, but also the engineering, science and history behind it. He will join professional teams, take on seemingly impossible challenges, receive coaching by some of the world’s leading drivers and pilots and meet fellow speed freaks to share their secrets of how to get every last ounce of power out of his machines. Each episode starts with Idris visiting a renowned motor sport competition, shot on locations across Florida, California and the British Isles, that will inspire his mission to take on some of the toughest racing disciplines in the world. To push his car, plane or boat to the utter limit, Idris gets under the bonnet and miles under his belt to prepare for the big race day that will see him go head to head with the professionals.

Tonight is the series premiere of Big Easy Motors on History Channel at 10/9c, followed by the 2nd new episode at 10:30/9:30c. There’s undiscovered treasure in the bayous of Louisiana and Charles Handler knows how to find it. From a 1957 Chevy Bel Air convertible to a 1967 Shelby Mustang GT, Handler and his team find long-forgotten piles of junk into dazzling custom cars. He searches all over Louisiana for one-of-a-kind classics, invests his own money to fix them up, and then sells them at auction. These treasures can sell for big money so there’s a huge profit to be made, if everything goes according to plan. Each episode, based in New Orleans, will feature amazing vehicle restorations and high stakes auctions where everything’s on the line.
 
Tonight is also the series premiere of Greatest Ever on TruTV at 10/9c. Hosted by comedian Amanda Seales, this is a fast-paced, informative and fun pop-culture comedy countdown show that takes viewers through the “do’s” and “don’ts” of topics like weddings, animal videos, sports, politicians and awesomely, unintentionally funny inventions, infomercials and products.

Tonight is the series premiere of American Tarzan on Discovery Channel at 10/9c. On a remote Caribbean island, seven challengers will take on Mother Nature’s most brutal obstacle course. Their goal: to not only survive the wild, but to master it. There was a time when man was truly wild. Survival meant silently stalking your prey, climbing high in trees to escape predators, and utilizing every resource within reach to stay alive. That era may be gone but there are still men and women who blaze though the forest, swim the raging rapids, and spend their days in the treetops. In an epic journey through four distinct terrains; the jungle, coast, mountains and canyons, these men and women must live completely off the land, while tackling the most punishing obstacles on earth. They will face conditions that early inhabitants tackled hundreds of years ago, relying on nothing more than basic tools, mental toughness and brute strength. After kayaking through open water to reach the inhospitable island, the first challenge will be to navigate an impenetrable jungle filled with vines, roots and steep cliffs, a harsh taste of the myriad obstacles the island will throw at them. Over the subsequent weeks, challengers will traverse dense jungles, raging rivers and towering mountains, all while foraging for food to keep them fueled for the long and strenuous journey. Seven will attempt to conquer the island of Dominica, but only one will become American Tarzan.

Tonight is the series premiere of Million Dollar Matchmaker on WE at 10/9c. The world’s most renowned matchmaker and favorite love guru, Patti Stanger, returns with millionaires from her past and present as they bring their relationship problems and issues to the exclusive “Millionaire’s Club” for a final chance at finding love. In an effort to see if love will once and for all prevail, Patti helps some of her unmatchable millionaires…and if Patti can’t help them find love by the end of their stay, no one can! Each episode features two wealthy clients checking into the breathtaking luxury property in North County San Diego, Harrah’s Resort Southern California, where they quickly, and unwittingly, embark on their “love lesson,” custom tailored challenges designed by Patti and her team to reveal what they are doing wrong. Patti then meets one-on-one with each millionaire for a “reality check”, an in-depth review of his or her surprise date, where she delivers her particular brand of tough love, with sometimes brutally honest feedback. Finally, Patti will introduce each high-profile client to her two matches. If all goes well, the millionaire and his or her potential match will be on their way to happily ever after.
 
Tonight is also the series premiere of The Amber Rose Show on VH1 at 11/10c. The show will bring Rose’s unique, unapologetic style, hustle and hilarious point of view to re-invent late night. Feminist, author, actor and entrepreneur, “Muva Rose” as she’s known to her 18+ million social media followers, will conduct candid interviews with industry experts and lead provocative, entertaining and unfiltered conversations with guests about pop culture, parenting, relationships, friendships, race, and entrepreneurship.

Saturday is the series premiere of Hello World! on Discovery Channel at 8/7c, followed by a 2nd new episode at 8:30/7:30c. This six-part series takes a look at the wonders of the natural world through the eyes of some of today’s most celebrated musicians. The series brings out the universal themes of the artists’ music by using it as a soundtrack for the stories of animals in the wild. It takes viewers deep into the environments of animals as varied as sea turtles, jumping spiders, rhinos, and hawks as they live their daily lives. Whether they are searching for water, looking for love, or caring for their families, these animals all have a singular way of surviving. Each episode features the artist’s vibrant storytelling and one of their well-known songs, as well as a lush musical score.

Tonight is also the 90-minute season finale of Outlander on Starz at 9/8c.
