Tonight is the series premiere of Eyewitness on USA Network at 10/9c. This is a bone-chilling crime thriller that delves into the lives of two teenage boys after they secretly meet up in a cabin, bear witness to a shooting and barely escape with their lives. Desperate to keep their relationship a secret and in fear of being found by the perpetrator, they remain silent but soon learn that what has been seen cannot be unseen — and when you witness a horrible event, it changes everything. Adapted from the critically acclaimed Norwegian drama Øyevitne, the series stars Julianne Nicholson (Black Mass, Masters of Sex), Gil Bellows (Ascension, 11.22.63), Tyler Young (Empire), and James Paxton (Term Life).

Tonight is the series premiere of Chance on Hulu at 3:01AM/2:01AMc. Based on the acclaimed novel by Kem Nunn, this is a provocative, psychological thriller that focuses on Dr. Eldon Chance (Hugh Laurie, House), a San Francisco-based forensic neuropsychiatrist who reluctantly gets sucked into a violent and dangerous world of mistaken identity, police corruption, and mental illness. After an ill-advised decision regarding an alluring patient who may or may not be struggling with a multiple personality disorder, Dr. Chance finds himself in the crosshairs of her abusive spouse, who also happens to be a ruthless police detective. In over his head, Dr. Chance’s descent into the city’s wayward underbelly, all while navigating the waters of a contentious divorce and tribulations of his teenage daughter, soon spirals into an ever deepening exploration of one of mankind’s final frontiers- the shadowy, undiscovered country of the human mind. Tonight is the series premiere of Project Runway: Fashion Startup on Lifetime at 10:30/9:30c. The series showcases aspiring fashion and beauty entrepreneurs as they pitch their concepts for the chance to secure funds from a panel of expert investors to help grow their budding ventures. The panel includes Katia Beauchamp, the Co-Founder & CEO of beauty retailer Birchbox; tech marketplace maven and Founder and CEO of plus-size clothing rental startup Gwynnie Bee, Christine Hunsicker; celebrated fashion designer Rebecca Minkoff; and business mentor of the CFDA Incubator program, CEO of Hilldun Corporation and Chairman of Interluxe Holdings LLC, Gary Wassner. With their own time and money on the line, the experts give each entrepreneur tough love and sage advice as they pitch their concepts with hopes of securing an investment. With so much at stake, Project Runway: Fashion Startup could be the beginning of a beautiful partnership for some, or the end of a dream for others. Special appearances by renowned fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger; Founder and President of the Rodial Group, Maria Hatzistefanis; Co-Founder of SoulCycle, Julie Rice; and Jenny Fleiss, Co-Founder and Head of Logistics at Rent the Runway, will be made throughout the series, among others.

Tonight is the series premiere of Kindred Spirits on TLC at 10/9c. The show follows renowned ghost hunters Amy Bruni and Adam Berry as they help real families who are tormented by paranormal activity in their homes. Scared by the mysterious happenings, but hesitant to pick up and leave their homes, these families have turned to two of America’s leading paranormal investigators to capture evidence, guide the spirits into the light and bring closure to family. With the added stress that the spirits may be their own late family members, each episode of Kindred Spirits introduces a new family that seeks help from Amy and Adam. In the premiere episode, the paranormal experts meet Catherine and her daughter, who live on a 34-acre property in Little Meadows, Penn. They’ve been experiencing multiple things that they cannot explain — smashed light fixtures, being woken up in their sleep and inexplicable scratches. It takes Amy and Adam multiple investigations to figure out who is bothering them, but more importantly, can they figure out why? It’s up to the experts to help this family reach closure by facilitating contact with the other side.

Then suddenly…everything changed.” So goes the life of Todd Brotzman (Elijah Wood); accurately surmised by the intrusive stranger Dirk Gently (Samuel Barnett) … a holistic detective who doesn’t really detect… or find clues… or ever really solved a case… Ok, so he’s a crazy person who’s insinuated himself into the life of a man who literally has absolutely nothing left to lose… An eight-part series penned by Max Landis (American Ultra, Chronicle), Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency, adapted from the wildly popular novels by Douglas Adams (“The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy”).

Tonight is also the season premiere of Comic Book Men on AMC at 12:40AM/11:40PMc.

Finally, tonight is a new episode of Saturday Night Live on NBC at 11:29/10:29c, with host Tom Hanks and musical guest Lady Gaga.
