If We Controlled Your Remote… 11/13/16

Have you ever been at a loss as to what to watch? Too many shows to pick from? We’re here to give you our opinions on what we feel is worth watching. Check it out and then let us know in the comments below what you’re choosing for tonight!

Kyle’s Choice

lastmanonearth1113smallThe Last Man on Earth continues to keep things fresh in its third season by constantly shaking things up. Last week, the group was on the move and came across an abandoned five-story self-sustaining office building with electricity, plumbing, and most importantly…frozen pizza. While most of the group was excited with their new location, it seemed like someone was trying to sabotage things to get them to leave. While Phil suspected it was the newest addition to the group, Lewis, Carol eventually came clean that it was her and that she had always pictured her and Phil living in a real house. So, in one of the building’s warehouse-like rooms, Phil built her a small playhouse for the two of them to live in. Meanwhile, Gail dropped out of the love triangle with Todd for Melissa, and Melissa dropped the bomb that she wanted to have Todd’s baby.

How long will the gang stay at this new location? Will Phil ever get along with Lewis? Will Todd take Melissa up on her offer, or is he also ready to bail on that relationship? How much longer does Erica have until her baby arrives? And will the group come across any new survivors? I’m really enjoying this series and always look forward to seeing what cliffhanger the next episode will bring.

On tonight’s episode, “The Open-Ended Nature of Unwitnessed Deaths,” Phil tries to make friends with Lewis by becoming interested in his life story. Meanwhile, Carol needs a favor from Gail; and Todd is concerned about Melissa’s mental health.

See if Phil and Lewis become friends tonight on FOX at 9:30/8:30c.

I’ll also be watching/recording Quantico, Madam Secretary, The Simpsons, Son of Zorn, Family Guy, The Walking Dead, Good Behavior, Eyewitness, and Westworld.

ncisla1113smallLast week on NCIS: LA, when the partner of a dead NSA analyst shows went missing and showed up in a mental hospital, Callen went undercover to see if he could find the guy and learn why he was there. It turned out the man was hiding from two of his other colleagues, who he realized had been stealing money from a drug cartel. Unfortunately, when the cartel came for him, Callen switched places with him to save him, but they threw him into the ocean with sharks. Fortunately, Sam was able to save him in time.

On other notes, Granger had a mysterious MRI. I don’t know what he’s going through, but I like him so much more now, so I hope he’s okay. Also, Kensi is really struggling with her injuries and physical therapy. Deeks is with her all the time, trying to support her, but it’s having the opposite effect, and when he proposed (again), she said she didn’t want their engagement to happen in such horrible circumstances. I know she’ll get better and they WILL get engaged. I just can’t wait for it to happen!

On tonight’s episode, “Parallel Resistors,” after a graduate student developing an electromagnetic weapon for the Navy is attacked, the NCIS team discovers a connection to international warfare. Also, Kensi continues grueling physical therapy for her spinal injury.

To see what connection they discover, tune in to CBS at 8/7c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing Guy’s Grocery Games, Holiday Baking Championship, & Clash of the Grandmas.
