Ahh, gotta love it when the fall TV season starts up again! Strap in, ladies and gentlemen. It’s going to be a fun ride as we start up the Remotes again on a pretty regular basis. After a slow summer, I can’t wait!

My pick tonight is the season premiere of Dancing with the Stars. I haven’t been a regular watcher of this show for years now, because most of the time, I couldn’t care less about the celebrities they have on. But this season, I think it’s going to be fun for a few reasons, at least at the beginning. First, there’s married couple Nick & Vanessa Lachey, who are paired up with married couple Maks Chmerkovskiy & Peta Murgatroyd. Some of my other favorites are Debbie Gibson (I mean, I was an 80s music girl…) & Alan Bersten, Drew Scott (I love Property Brothers & their other shows!) & Emma Slater, & Terrell Owens (I’ve liked him for a while since I played fantasty football with him as my top pick) & Cheryl Burke, whom I also love.
Other contestants are Barbara Corcoran (Shark Tank) & Keo Motsepe, Derek Fisher (former Los Angeles Laker basketball player) & Sharna Burgess, Frankie Muniz (Malcolm in the Middle) & Witney Carson, Jordan Fisher (Grease: LIVE & singer) & Lindsay Arnold, Lindsey Stirling (acclaimed violinist)& Mark Ballas, Nikki Bella (WWE Diva) & Artem Chigvintsev, Sasha Pieterse (Pretty Little Liars) & Gleb Savchenko, and Victoria Arlen (gold & silver medalist in swimming) & Val Chmerkovskiy.
On tonight’s 2-hour premiere, each couple will perform a salsa, foxtrot, tango, or cha cha, vying for America’s vote for the first time. No couples will be eliminated on week one, and they will all advance to week two of the competition.
Check out the new celebrities and pick your favorites to win tonight on ABC at 8/7c.
I’ll also be watching/DVRIng So You Think You Can Dance & To Tell the Truth.

Tonight is the season finale of Midnight, Texas, and I am going to miss having this creepy and twisted show to watch weekly. At first I was concerned that this show would be a little corny and not worth my time, but as the season continued I could not stop watching. The characters and the writing have evolved to a point where I will be distraught if they do not give us a second season.
On last week’s episode, Manfred accepted his destiny as the one to save the town after his grandmother admitted she knew all along he was meant to be the one to do it. Manfred wanted to fight his gift, but by the end of the episode he had returned to town and was embracing his abilities full force in order to send the demon back to hell. Unfortunately, we know that this is only the beginning of the trauma and the town has a hard battle ahead.
On tonight’s episode, “The Virgin Sacrifice,” hell is literally about to erupt onto Witch Light Road, and Fiji about to be claimed by the Demon who has been tormenting her, Manfred leads the Midnighters to take back their home from the evil forces that occupy it. As Bobo turns his attention to saving Fiji, Olivia, and Creek confront the wraiths. Manfred focuses on killing the demon and closing the veil with the help of Lem, Joe, and the Rev. Manfred takes a desperate gamble and risks his life by asking for help from an unlikely source.
Find out if these misfits can save the only place they’ve ever felt at home tonight on NBC at 10/9c.
I’ll also be watching American Ninja Warrior.
