Tonight is the series premiere of Baked on Food Network at 10/9c, followed by a 2nd new episode at 10:30/9:30c. When carb-loving comedian Tom Papa isn’t doing stand-up, he is probably eating, thinking about or making bread (his specialty is sourdough), and he takes his passion for baked goods to the next level in the new Food Network series Baked. In his mission to find the country’s best breads and pastries, Tom hits cities from coast to coast to shine a light on how local bakeries make life a little sweeter. He kicks the series off in New York City, where he devours glazed donuts covered in everything bagel topping, takes a master class in old world baking and discovers the bready, eggy, cheesy dish khachapuri. Tom then heads to Detroit, Boston, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, New Orleans, New Jersey and Cleveland in subsequent episodes.

Tonight is the series premiere of Model Squad on E! at 8/7c. The show follows Daniela Braga, Olivia Culpo, Hannah Ferguson, Ping Hue, Nadine Leopold, Caroline Lowe, Ashley Moore, Shanina Shaik and Devon Windsor as they prepare for the fall fashion season. Tonight is the series premiere of Food Obsessed on Cooking Channel at 9/8c. Food lovers of the world unite! We’re bringing our biggest appetites and digging into the world’s tastiest meals for this ultimate guide to all things food. From master pizzas to oodles of noodles to deep-fried deliciousness and more, there’s no need to hide your obsession with food — we’re here to celebrate it!
Tonight is also the complete first season premiere of 54 Hours on Sundance Now at 3:01AM/2:01AMc. Based on a gripping true story and directed by Kilian Riedhof, 54 Hours examines an armed bank robbery gone awry in 1988. While fleeing from the police, the two gangsters take an entire busload hostage. The ensuing manhunt, however, turns into a disaster. The police make fools of themselves with their amateurish operations and, above all, are obstructed by the nation’s media who swoop down on the events in their rat race for the juiciest pictures and live interviews with the kidnappers. As Rösner, the driving force of the duo, orchestrates their 54 hours of fame in cold blood, his accomplice Degowski derives sinister pleasure from manipulating the media. But Degowski is also unpredictable and violent. When he loses his nerve, and kills a teenage passenger in the bus, the two men choose two young women as their hostages while leaping into another getaway vehicle. Thus, begins an odyssey that goes completely out of control, marking one of the biggest hits for the local broadcaster in 1988.
Finally, tonight is the series premiere of Save Me on Starz.com at 3:01AM/2:01AMc. The show follows Nelson Nelly Rowe (Lennie James) and his search for Jody, his missing daughter. A daughter he hasn’t seen for ten years — more than half her life. Nelly’s a charmer, a chancer, a lover, a fighter, and a liar. He’s now also an estranged father, accused of kidnapping the daughter he barely knows. On his way to finding Jody, Nelly will save lives, find others who have been lost, reunite loved ones, make enemies from friends, risk his life and the lives of others close to him and continually end up back on his feet after finding himself flat on his face. He’s a man who faces a stark reality, as hard as it may be to admit, that in losing his daughter he finds himself.

Tonight is the series premiere of Bite Club on Food Network at 9/8c. Tyler Florence hits some of the country’s top food cities and pits local chefs against each other in a fierce fight to become their hometown champ. In each location, five chefs arrive prepared to cook in an unknown kitchen, and are greeted with a game of chance that results in two chefs becoming the competition’s judges. The three remaining chefs then go head-to-head in two rounds of intense secret ingredient cooking battles, where their peers ultimately decide who becomes the city’s “Bite Club” champ.
