Tonight is the series premiere of Whiskey Cavalier on ABC at a special night & time of 11:35/10:35c. This high-octane, hour-long action dramedy follows the adventures of tough but tender FBI super-agent Will Chase (codename: “Whiskey Cavalier”), played by Scott Foley (Scandal, The Unit). Following an emotional breakup, Chase is assigned to work with badass CIA operative Francesca “Frankie” Trowbridge (codename: “Fiery Tribune”), played by Lauren Cohan (The Walking Dead). Together, they lead an interagency team of flawed, funny and heroic spies who periodically save the world (and each other) while navigating the rocky roads of friendship, romance and office politics. Tonight is the series premiere of The Enemy Within on NBC at 10/9c. In this fast-paced, spy-hunting thriller, Erica Shepherd (Jennifer Carpenter, Dexter) is a brilliant former CIA operative, now known as the most notorious traitor in American history serving life in a Supermax prison. Against every fiber of his being but with nowhere else to turn, FBI Agent Will Keaton (Morris Chestnut, Legends, Rosewood) enlists Shepherd to help track down a fiercely dangerous and elusive criminal she knows all too well. For Keaton, it’s not easy to trust the woman who cost him so much. Tonight is the series premiere of Gone on WGN America at 9/8c. Starring Chris Noth (Sex & the City, Law & Order), Leven Rambin (The Path, True Detective), and Danny Pino (Law & Order: SVU, Mayans M.C.), the missing person’s detective procedural follows the story of Kit “Kick” Lannigan (Rambin), survivor of a famous child-abduction case, and Frank Novak (Noth), the FBI agent who rescued her. Years later, Novak recruits Lanigan to join a special task force dedicated to solving abductions and missing person’s cases. Paired with former Army intelligence officer John Bishop (Pino), Lanigan uses her intuitive wit and martial arts skills to solve cases and bring victims home. Also starring is Tracie Thomas (UnREAL, 9-1-1, The Devil Wears Prada) and Andy Mientus (The Flash, Anger Management).
Tonight is also the series premiere of Alien News Desk on Syfy at 11/10c. This weekly, half-hour topical animated series set in an extraterrestrial newsroom. Voiced by Will Forte (alien news anchor “Drexx Drudlarr”) and Saturday Night Live’s Heidi Gardner (alien co-anchor “Tuva Van Void”), the 12-episode series will cover up-to-the-minute news and commentary about the universe’s most baffling species – the inscrutable Humans of Planet Earth.
Finally, tonight is also the series premiere of Ministry of Evil on Sundance Channel at 11/10c. The show chronicles the life and crimes of Tony Alamo, who, together with his wife, became a born-again, fire-and-brimstone televangelist and cult leader. The two launched The Tony and Susan Alamo Christian foundation in 1969, which soon evolved into a cult that is said to still operate today. Together, by skirting the law and enforcing a code of silence among their followers, the Alamos came to wield unimaginable power, becoming millionaires on the backs of their believers. The new docuseries explores the cultural consequences of the Alamo empire and features rare archival footage, including an exclusive videotaped deposition with Alamo himself. It also weaves together interviews with the FBI agent who took Alamo down as well as cult survivors who have never previously shared their stories.

Tonight is the complete first season premiere of Northern Rescue on Netflix at 3:01AM/2:01AMc. This is a heartwarming family drama starring William Baldwin (MacGyver) and Kathleen Robertson (Murder in the First). After the death of his wife Sarah, John West (Baldwin) packs up his three children and moves from their hectic urban life to his small northern hometown to take command of the local Search & Rescue service. The episode numbers are (I believe) production numbers. That’s the number that the show/network gave out to the press. So it doesn’t always match up to where it falls in terms of episode number, if that makes sense. 🙂
