Tonight is the series premiere of American Princess on Lifetime at 9/8c, followed by a 2nd new episode at 10/9c. The series follows runaway bride Amanda Klein (Aussie newcomer Georgia Flood, Anzac Girls, Wentworth) as she joins a Renaissance Faire after her wedding goes awry, only to discover there’s a lot more to life than she once thought. When Amanda (Flood), an Upper East Side socialite, runs away from her own dream wedding, she realizes that the life she thought she wanted wasn’t actually right after all. After impulsively joining a Renaissance Faire, Amanda experiences an unexpected awakening that leads her to reevaluate everything she thought she knew about the pursuit of happiness. She quickly develops new friendships, rivalries and romances that, much to the confusion of her family, opens her eyes to new beginnings. Lucas Neff (Raising Hope) stars as David, Amanda’s love interest and Ren Faire actor who goes by the name “Pizzle Humpsalot,” performing Shakespearean parodies in the mud; Seana Kofoed (Men in Trees, Flaked) plays Maggie, the venerable Queen Elizabeth at the Faire; Mary Hollis Inboden (The Real O’Neals, Here And Now) plays Delilah, a free-spirited washer wench who becomes Amanda’s new best friend; and Rory O’Malley (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Hamilton) as Brian, Maggie’s confidant and the Faire’s beloved Shakespeare. Guest stars include Jamie Denbo, Lesley Ann Warren, Matt Peters, Lucas Hazlett, Sophie Von Haselberg, Matt Ehrich, Natasha Leggero, Steve Agee, Tommy Dorfman, Fortune Feimster, and John Ross Bowie.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Marriage Rescue on Paramount at 10/9c. Jon Taffer, who is tremendously successful diffusing conflict among family-owned businesses on Paramount Network’s popular series Bar Rescue, will apply similar tactics to a diverse group of spouses on Marriage Rescue, ranging from newlyweds to couples who have been together for decades. To escape any distractions from the daily grind of their lives, Taffer has transported these couples to a five-star beach resort in the Caribbean. In every episode, he will meet two new couples and then explore the issues straining their marriages. After putting their relationship to the test with a series of unique, customized and often exotic challenges, the couples will either leave the show together or opt to part ways.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Perpetual Grace, Ltd on Epix at 10/9c. The show follows James (Jimmi Simpson, Breakout Kings, Hap & Leonard, Westworld), a young grifter, as he attempts to prey upon Pastor Byron Brown (Sir Ben Kingsley, Watership Down), who turns out to be far more dangerous than he suspects. The pastor and his wife Lillian (Jacki Weaver, Secret City, Blunt Talk, The Deep Mad Dark, Gracepoint) — known to their parishioners as Pa and Ma — have used religion to bilk hundreds of innocent people out of their life savings. Additional cast includes Terry O’Quinn (Patriot, Castle Rock, Lost), Damon Herriman (100 Bloody Acres), Kurtwood Smith (That ’70s Show, Patriot), and Luis Guzman (Traffic, Code Black).

Tonight is also the series premiere of Raising Wild on Discovery Channel at 10/9c. The Hines family was your typical close-knit Texas suburban family, who struggled with the distractions of modern technology. Patriarch Brett Hines, a former Army counter-intelligence officer and military contractor, was often away on missions while mother Wendy stayed home and took care of their seven children. After nearly two decades of service, Brett realized how disconnected they were as a family and to the world around them, so he had a vision to create a homestead completely off-grid in the wilderness of the Pacific Northwest. Using skills and techniques honed by Brett in the military overseas, the family must learn to secure food, power and heat for survival. But as winter rapidly approaches, will Brett’s military experience be enough for them to successfully survive the harsh conditions they must face, and become a closer family than ever?

Tonight is also the series premiere of Relatively Nat & Liv on E! at 10/9c. The series features social influencers, and cousins, Natalie Halcro and Olivia Pierson, along with their close-knit families, as they juggle their lives between the beauty and fame of Los Angeles and their humble and hilarious roots in Vancouver. Having established themselves as beauty and fashion influencers over the last few years, Natalie and Olivia have grown considerable social media followings, but know that in order to make it in Los Angeles they need to do more than take a good selfie. After gaining business experience through various brand partnerships, Nat and Liv look to their brothers, Joel and Owen, to help build their brand as they work towards curating their first fashion line. The girls take time from their busy schedules to go back to Vancouver showing a portion of their lives that can’t be found on any social platform. Their loud and lively moms, Rhonda and Julia are also sisters and the glue holding this eccentric group together through vacations and weekly Sunday night dinners. Natalie is also close with her sister Stephanie, the eldest cousin, who is a free-spirited, eclectic personality and sometimes struggles to find her place in the group, often identifying herself as the “black sheep.” From overprotective parents to competitive siblings, this crew takes on all of life’s adventures together and prove that no amount of fame can rival a family’s bond.

Tonight is also the series premiere of The Weekly on FX at 10/9c. The Weekly is a new TV series from The New York Times, bringing unparalleled journalism to the screen. Each half-hour episode features a Times journalist investigating one of the most pressing issues of the day. With more than 1,550 journalists reporting from 160 countries each year, the Times publishes 250 stories a day — investigative reports, political scoops, cultural dispatches. And each week, The Weekly chooses to tell one of these stories in a visual and unforgettable way.

Finally, tonight is the series premiere of NOS4A2 on AMC at 10:05/9:05c. Based on Joe Hill’s 2013 best-selling novel of the same name, NOS4A2 follows Vic McQueen, played by Ashleigh Cummings (The Goldfinch), a gifted young woman who discovers she has a supernatural ability to find lost things. This ability puts her on a collision course with the evil and immortal Charlie Manx, played by Emmy(R)-nominee Zachary Quinto (Star Trek, American Horror Story, Heroes). Manx is a supernatural villain who feeds off the souls of children then deposits what remains of them into Christmasland — a twisted place of Manx’s imagination where every day is Christmas Day and unhappiness is against the law. Vic strives to defeat Manx and rescue his victims — without losing her mind or falling victim to him herself. The show also stars Ashley Romans, Darby Camp (Big Little Lies), Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Girls, Marvel’s The Punisher), Jahkara Smith, Karen Pittman, Olafur Darri Olafsson (Line of Sight), Ramian Newton (The Family, Rise, Tell Me a Story), & Virginia Kull (Big Little Lies, Gracepoint, The Looming Tower).

Tonight is the 2-hour series premiere of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way on TLC at 9/8c. How far would you go for love? Fans of 90 Day Fiance have seen lovestruck foreigners make the big adjustment of moving to America in the franchise that has taken over Sunday night, and now they’ll get to follow hopeful couples on a second night of the week where it’s the American moving abroad in the name of love. This new show will follow couples where the American is giving up everything and moving across the globe to be with the person they love. Racing against a ticking clock, these six Americans face the challenges of relocating internationally, overcoming major culture shocks, winning over soon-to-be foreign in-laws, and most importantly, trying to make it down the aisle. Will uprooting their lives in the United States pay off or be the biggest mistake ever?

Tonight is also the series premiere of The Oslo Killing on Sundance Now at 3:01AM/2:01AMc. (One source has it listed as the complete first season at once, but Sundance Now’s channel says the premiere plus new episodes every Monday night/Tuesday morning. So I’m going with what Sundance Now says. But beware…it might be wrong. 😉 ) On April 24, 1974, the brutally murdered body of Anni Nielsen Iranzo was discovered; beaten and strangled in her Oslo home. She was 3 months pregnant. There was only one witness to the crime, Ann’s four-year-old daughter, Maria. Now 48 years old, Maria sets out to find the truth about who killed her mother. Jealousy, revenge, and money – a mystery stretching from Norway to Argentina to the U.S., unsolved for 43 years and buried by all… This intense true crime miniseries digs into the infamous cold case, shedding light on new leads and suspects. The show stars Nate Johnson, Maria Iranzo Nielsen, Karen Lise Bruhn, Liv Cardona, Gunnar Larson, & Roald Ektskjold.

Tonight is the series premiere of The Radkes on USA Network at 10:30/9:30c. The Radkes is a six-episode, half-hour unscripted family sitcom that centers around Melissa Radke and her big, loud, Southern family. They live in the small East Texas town where she was born and raised: Lufkin, Texas. This outspoken mom will give you her opinion on almost anything, even if you didn’t ask. She’s funny, charming, and the life of every party…especially the ones she wasn’t invited to. Melissa and her husband David love their two children Remi, 12, and Rocco, 9, unapologetically, but when it comes to dealing with middle-school drop-off or teaching her children sex education…Melissa is constantly apologizing! She’s a pretty big personality for such a small town, but ask Melissa why she loves Lufkin and she’s quick to tell you: “Because the barbecue is better and the babysitting is free.”
