I’m super excited because another favorite game show that I used to watch reruns of all the time, Press Your Luck, is premiering tonight! If you don’t know this one, this game show’s contestants answer questions to earn spins and then use those spins on the “Big Board,†to win cash and other prizes. Unfortunately, the “WHAMMY†can get them. I don’t know how they’ll handle it now, but at least back in the day, the whammies were these cute little…elf-like creatures dressed in various costumes that walked across the TV screen and stole all the money if a contestant landed on them.
Elizabeth Banks is the new host. She’s been in a lot of things, but for me she’s most notably from Scrubs. I hope she’ll be a fun host and that they kept all the fun Whammies in their silly costumes and actions. I’ll definitely be tuning in!
Don’t miss tonight’s premiere on ABC at 10/9c**.
**Unless you’re like me in the Kansas City area, which won’t get to see it until midnight, due to the KC mayoral debate. Boo! LOL
I’ll also be watching/DVRing America’s Got Talent, Chopped, Blood & Treasure, Sweet Home Sextuplets, & Songland.

The first two weeks of auditions on America’s Got Talent have been filled with some amazing talent so far, and I am loving Terry Crews as the host. Last week the one act with the three brothers who did balancing lifts and were incredibly ripped made me laugh when they brought Terry out at the end to lift one of them up as well. My goodness that man is in incredible shape. I am still deciding whether or not I like Julianne Hough as a judge, but I know I like Gabrielle Union on the panel for sure. I’m not sure what it is about Julianne that annoys me, but I’m hoping she grows on me more as the season goes on.
On tonight’s episode, “Auditions 3,” the auditions continue, while the Golden Buzzer is still in play and three more lucky acts have the chance to go directly to the live shows at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles to compete for America’s vote.
To see what this round of auditions brings, tune in to NBC at 8/7c.
I’ll also be watching Blood & Treasure.
