Tonight is the series premiere of Expedition Bigfoot on Travel Channel at 10/9c. An elite team of Sasquatch specialists journey into the unforgiving Oregon wilderness in search of Bigfoot. The three-week expedition, based on science and expertise, may finally pull the elusive beast out of the pages of legend and lore and into reality.
 
Tonight is also the series premiere of The L Word: Generation Q on Showtime at 10/9c. The show continues to follow the intermingled lives of Bette Porter (Jennifer Beals), Alice Pieszecki (Leisha Hailey), and Shane McCutcheon (Katherine Moennig), along with new characters Dani Nùñez (Arienne Mandi), Micah Lee (Leo Sheng), Finley (Jacqueline Toboni), Sophie Suarez (Rosanny Zayas), and Gigi (Sepideh Moafi) as they experience love, heartbreak, sex, setbacks and success in L.A. Guest stars include Brian Michael, Stephanie Allyne, Olivia Thirlby, Fortune Feimster, & Latarsha Rose.
 
Finally, tonight is the series premiere of Work in Progress on Showtime at 11/10c. This funny and uniquely human comedy features Abby McEnany as a 45-year-old self-identified fat, queer dyke from Chicago whose misfortune and despair unexpectedly lead her to a vibrantly transformative relationship. Chicago-based performer Karin Anglin co-stars alongside Celeste Pechous, with Julia Sweeney (Saturday Night Live, Shrill) appearing in a crucial role as herself. Theo Germaine (The Politician) will also appear as a guest star.

Tonight is the series premiere of Ellen’s Greatest Night of Giveaways on NBC at 8/7c. This is an intimate and in-depth look at what it’s like to be a woman incarcerated in an American jail. With some 200 inmates, the series goes behind the walls of the Western Massachusetts Regional Women’s Correctional Center and explores the reality of life when orange really is the new black. These mothers, daughters, grandmothers and sisters re also gangbangers, murderers, drug smugglers and armed robbers. While we might see glimpses of their softer sides, these often volatile and dangerous women are housed together 24/7 – with explosive consequences.
