A teen navigates the complexities of high school, family and her sexuality while dealing with new superpowers. Based on Charles Forsman’s graphic novel. The show stars Aidan Wojtak-Hissong, Kathleen Rose Perkins, Ophia Lillis, Richard Ellis, Sofia Bryant, & Wyatt Oleff.
Overnight last night was also the complete first season premiere of The Trials of Gabriel Fernandez on Netflix. A boy’s brutal murder and the public trials of his guardians and social workers prompt questions about the system’s protection of vulnerable children.

The new series, featuring under-qualified and over-confident Brit Amy Hoggart seeks to make Americans feel better by attacking issues that make their lives — and Amy’s — harder. Although Hoggart doesn’t have a license, PhD, or any actual qualifications whatsoever, in each episode of It’s Personal with Amy Hoggart, a docu-style comedy series, she attempts to untangle people’s everyday issues such as shame, revenge, anxiety, grief, and…Miami. Each episode, viewers learn how Amy’s personal issues echo those of her clients’ in unexpected, ridiculous ways. As a self-proclaimed “empath and really nice person,” Amy goes to absurd lengths to get her clients — all real people, not actors — to feel just a little bit better. She’s desperate to help, and it definitely shows.

Overnight last night was the complete first season premiere of Queen Sono on Netflix. South African spy Queen Sono finds herself in a nefarious web of business and politics as she seeks to uncover the truth behind her mother’s death. The show stars Pearl Thusi, Vuyo Dabula, & Loyiso Madinga.
Also overnight last night was the complete first season premiere of Restaurants on the Edge on Netflix. Three food and design experts (Nick Liberato, Karin Bohn, & Dennis Prescott) travel the world to revive failing restaurants by connecting them to the local culture beyond their gorgeous views.
Overnight last night was also the series premiere of Shop Class on Disney+. A new competition series features teams of inventive students who are tasked with designing, building, and testing new contraptions. In each episode a panel of experts will rate their work based on engineering, design, and the final test of the build. In the final episode, one team will be named Shop Class Champs. Justin Long hosts.
