If We Controlled Your Remote… 3/4/20

Have you ever been at a loss as to what to watch? Too many shows to pick from? We’re here to give you our opinions on what we feel is worth watching. Check it out and then let us know in the comments below what you’re choosing for tonight!

Jenny’s Choice

I’m super excited about tonight’s premiere of Tournament of Champions on Food Network. Sixteen of the nation’s most celebrated chefs face off in a five-episode tournament where their skills will be pushed to the limited as they go head-to-head in a single elimination bracket-style competition, where a randomizer machine determines the protein, produce, equipment, cooking style, and time for each cook-off. Can you imagine? It’ll really take it down to the skills of each chef, rather than give them a leg up if they got to choose whatever it takes to show off their best assets.

It’s hosted by Guy Fieri and features some of my favorite chefs from not only Food Network but also shows like Top Chef. Iron Chef Alex Guarnaschelli (my top pick to win), Antonio Lofaso, Brooke Williamson, Richard Blaiz, Jet Tila, Michael Voltaggio, and Amanda Freitag are my favorites, but there are a bunch more who I love and are great chefs. Don’t miss it tonight to see who will be competing!

On tonight’s 90-minute series premiere, “The Tournament Begins,” Guy greets 16 of the best chefs in the world to the most intense culinary competition ever.

Catch this new fun show from the beginning tonight on Food Network at 10/9c.

I’ll also be watching Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, Guy’s Grocery Games, SEAL Team, 68 Whiskey, Chicago PD, S.W.A.T., & Stumptown.

When The Masked Singer first premiered last year, I could not believe it was happening, and I was sure it would be ridiculously bad. This is the third season, and I still can’t believe it’s happening, but it is actually ridiculously good, in an strange, messed-up way. The costumes this season are outrageous, and the banana is quite creepy, to be honest, but there is never a dull moment. I am looking forward to seeing more stars unmasked, but so far one of my favorites in Group B is the frog. He has an incredible voice. Who do you think it is? Time will tell.

On tonight’s episode, “Friends in High Places, Group B Playoff,” season one winner T-Pain (“Monster”) returns. “Group B” competes for a spot in the “Super Nine.”

To see who gets unmasked next, tune in to FOX at 8/7c.

I’ll also be watching Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, Chicago Med, S.W.A.T., Nancy Drew, SEAL Team, and Stumptown.
