Tonight is the series premiere of Magic Caught on Camera on Travel Channel at 10/9c, followed by a 2nd new episode at 10:30/9:30c. Magicians across the United States and around the world take to the streets to perform mind-blowing illusions. From city to city, they amaze and bewilder passersby with never-before-seen card tricks, hypnosis, sleight of hand, levitation, vanishing acts and more.
 
Tonight is also the series premiere of Penny Dreadful: City of Angels on Showtime at 10:10/9:10c. 1938 Los Angeles is a time and place deeply infused with social and political tension. When a grisly murder shocks the city, Detective Tiago Vega (Daniel Zovatto) and his partner Lewis Michener (Nathan Lane) become embroiled in an epic story that reflects the rich history of Los Angeles: from the building of the city’s first freeways and its deep traditions of Mexican-American folklore, to the dangerous espionage actions of the Third Reich and the rise of radio evangelism. Before long, Tiago and his family are grappling with powerful forces that threaten to tear them apart. Overnight last night was the series premiere of Cup of Joe on Quibi. In this eight-part travel series before he hits the stage on his sold-out Happiness Begins tour, Joe Jonas will experience each city like a true native — as a local guides him through each destination.
 
Overnight last night was also the series premiere of Floored on Quibi. Liza Koshy hosts this comedic dance competition series in which two teams of skilled dancers take on an insane dance floor with a life of its own.
 
Overnight last night was also the series premiere of Never Have I Ever on Netflix. Inspired by Mindy Kaling’s own childhood, this coming-of-age story is about an Indian-American teen who, after a traumatic year, wants to go from pariah to popular — but friends, family, and feelings won’t make it easy on her. It stars John McEnroe as the narrator, along with Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Poorna Jagannathan, Richa Shukla, & Sendhil Ramamurthy.
 
Tonight is also the series premiere of Mummy Mysteries on Travel Channel at 10/9c. An international team of experts reveal the shocking true stories behind Ancient Egypt’s most infamous mummies. Using modern forensic science, they uncover horrific tales of life and death in one of history’s most vicious and turbulent empires.

Overnight last night was the complete first season premiere of Nadiya’s Time to Eat on Netflix. On this cooking show, Nadiya Hussain serves up delicious shortcuts, vital ingredients and fast favorites — perfect for today’s time-strapped families.
 
Overnight last night was also the complete first season premiere of Normal People on Hulu. Based on Sally Rooney’s New York Times best-selling novel, the show tracks the tender but complicated relationship of Marianne (Daisy Edgar-Jones) and Connell (Paul Mescal) from the end of their school days in a small-town in West Ireland to their undergraduate years at Trinity College. At school, he’s well-liked and popular, while she’s lonely, proud, and intimidating. But when Connell comes to pick up his mother from her cleaning job at Marianne’s house, a strange and indelible connection grows between the two teenagers — one they are determined to conceal. A year later, they’re both studying in Dublin and Marianne has found her feet in a new social world, but Connell hangs at the side lines, shy and uncertain.

Overnight was the complete first season premiere of Hollywood on Netflix. A group of aspiring actors and filmmakers in post-World War II Hollywood try to make it big — no matter the cost. From Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan. It stars Darren Criss, David Corenswet, Dylan McDermott, Holland Taylor, Jake Picking, Jeremy Pope, Jim Parsons, Joe Mantello, Katie McGuinness, Laura Harrier, Maude Apatow, Michelle Krusiec, Mira Sorvino, Patti LuPone, Rob Reiner, & Samara Weaving.
 
Overnight last night was also the complete first season premiere of Into the Night on Netflix. When the sun suddenly starts killing everything in its path, passengers on an overnight flight from Brussels attempt to survive by any means necessary.
 
Overnight last night was the complete first season premiere of Prop Culture on Disney+. Film historian and prop collector Dan Lanigan reunites iconic Disney movie props with the filmmakers, actors, and crew who created and used them in some of Disney’s most beloved films. Throughout this journey, Dan will recover lost artifacts, visit private collections, and help restore pieces from the Walt Disney Archives to their original glory. Among the films featured this season are Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Mary Poppins, The Muppet Movie, Tron, and Who Framed Roger Rabbit?.
 
Overnight last night was also the complete first season premiere of Trying on Apple TV+. All Jason and Nikki want is a baby. But it’s the one thing they just can’t have. Starring Rafe Spall and Esther Smith and coming from the UK, Trying is a new comedy series about growing up, settling down and finding someone to love. BAFTA Award winner Imelda Staunton also stars.
 
Finally overnight last night was also the complete first season premiere of Upload on Amazon. Upload is a sci-fi sitcom that takes place in the near future, where people who are near death can be “uploaded” into a virtual afterlife of their choice. In 2033, secretly romantic Brooklyn-born Nora works customer service for a luxurious virtual reality environment. When handsome L.A. party boy Nathan’s self-driving car crashes, his high-maintenance girlfriend uploads him permanently into Nora’s VR world. The show stars Allegra Edwards, Andy Allo, Elizabeth Bowen, Kevin Bigley, Owen Daniels, Robbie Amell, William B. Davis, & Zainab Johnson.
 
Finally, tonight is the series premiere of Betty on HBO at 11/10c. Starring Dede Lovelace, Moonbear, Nina Moran, Ajani Russell, and Rachelle Vinberg, who all starred in the original film, the show follows a diverse group of young women navigating their lives through the predominantly male-oriented world of skateboarding, set against the backdrop of New York City. Opinionated and loyal, Janay (Lovelace) is strong willed and stubborn in ways that both help and hurt her. Honeybear (Moonbear) is a quiet storm. Her flagrant style is a ruse; an armor she wears to hide her emotional struggles. Kirt (Moran) is a lover (to the ladies), a fighter (to the rest of the world), and a little kid in the body of a woman. She’s the funniest person alive, but even if she knew it, she wouldn’t care. Meanwhile, Indigo (Russell) is a street-savvy hustler trapped in the body of a well-to-do art school drop-out. On the edge of the group is Camille (Vinberg), guarded, perceptive, intelligent and awkward. She wants to be down with the dudes in the skate park and has fought hard for the small space she’s carved out with them, but she needs to realize that cool points don’t actually add up to the sum of anything, especially in the eyes of the other girls.
