This morning is the series premiere of American Wreckers on History Channel at 9AM/8AMc, followed by 2nd and 3rd new episodes at 10AM/9AMc & 11AM/10AMc. The Show Me State has a powerful legacy of outlaws and feuds. Home to Jesse James, Wyatt Earp and Wild Bill Hickok, Missouri’s now home to a new rivalry: the one between the Belle Boys and the Outsiders, fought each week in the demolition derby arena in Belle, Missouri. This season, the scrappy Outsiders team challenges local derby legend and reigning champions, the Belle Boys, to a series of six derbies. Every week, the two teams battle it out in a deeply personal fight for automotive supremacy in their grizzled, souped-up derby cars.

Tonight is the series premiere of Judgment with Ashleigh Banfield on Court TV at 8/7c. This all-new series is hosted by original Court TV alum and respected former CNN and MSNBC legal analyst Ashleigh Banfield, who made her Court TV return as a special contributor earlier this year. This weekly hour-long series takes viewers on a deep dive into the most provocative and talked about trials and cases of all-time. With brand new interviews and exclusive first-time ever reveals, each installment will look to further explore everything people only thought they knew about these touchstones in judicial history. Initial cases featured include those involving Casey Anthony, Jodie Arias, O.J. Simpson, Conrad Murray and others.

Tonight is also the 2-hour series premiere of Van Der Valk on PBS at 9/8c. Amsterdam—city of bikes, boats, and bodies. At least, that’s the way steely-eyed cop Piet van der Valk sees his murder-infested beat. Marc Warren (Beecham House, The Good Wife) stars as the title character in this all-new, three-part series based on Nicolas Freeling’s legendary crime thrillers. Co-starring are Maimie McCoy (Wallander) as Van der Valk’s right-hand woman, Lucienne Hassell; Luke Allen-Gale (Dominion) as the scruffy sergeant, Brad de Vries; and Elliot Barnes-Worrell (Jericho) as the squad’s brainy new guy, Job Cloovers. The recurring cast also includes Emma Fielding (Les Misérables) as Van der Valk’s incorruptible but indulgent boss, Julia Dahlman; and Darrell D’Silva (Game of Thrones) as the team’s hard-living, virtuoso pathologist, Hendrik Davie. Together they face a trio of challenging cases that give a new slant to Amsterdam’s renowned sophistication, for it appears that the city’s stylishness and toleration go hand in hand with murder.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Outrageous Pumpkins on Food Network at 10/9c. In this four-part series hosted by Alyson Hannigan, a traditional Halloween pastime is taken to the next level as seven expert pumpkin carvers compete at an outdoor pumpkin playground for the title of Outrageous Pumpkin Champion and a sweet $25,000 Halloween treat. Each week the carvers compete in two outrageous challenges that test their creativity and pumpkin prowess as they sculpt gravity-defying scenes that celebrate Halloween, with puppeteer and artist Terri Hardin and master pumpkin carver Ray Villafane judging their every move.

Overnight was the series premiere of Wireless on Quibi. A 20 year old finds himself stranded off a snow covered Colorado road on New Years Eve armed with his quickly dying phone. It stars Tye Sheridan.

Tonight is also the series premiere of The Third Day on HBO at 9/8c. The show’s six episodes are divided into “Summer” and “Winter.” Told over the first three episodes, “Summer” stars Jude Law (The New Pope) as Sam, a man who is drawn to a mysterious island off the British coast where he encounters a group of islanders set on preserving their traditions at any cost. Isolated from the mainland, Sam is unable to leave the idyllic and dangerously enchanting world he has discovered, where the secretive rituals of its inhabitants bring him to grapple with experiences of loss and trauma hidden in his past through the distorted lens of the present. As boundaries between fantasy and reality fragment, his quest to unlock the truth leads the islanders to reveal a shocking secret. “Winter” unfolds over the latter three episodes and stars Naomie Harris (Moonlight) as Helen, a strong-willed outsider who comes to the island seeking answers, but whose arrival precipitates a fractious battle to decide its fate as the lines between fantasy and fact are distorted.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Doomsday Caught on Camera on Travel Channel at 10/9c. The show explores shocking weather events and natural disasters including volcanoes, earthquakes, hurricanes and tsunamis that have been filmed by individuals and uploaded online. These riveting stories are driven by first-person accounts of those who survived these life-changing events, with supporting expertise from our cast of commentators that includes renowned geologists, meteorologists, voices from a theological perspective along with healing/recovery specialists. The range of jaw-dropping footage will have you thanking your lucky stars that these doomsday events…didn’t happen to you.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Enslaved on Epix at 10/9c. Led by icon and activist Samuel L. Jackson, Enslaved sheds new light on 400 years of human trafficking from Africa to the New World. Based on a DNA test identifying his ancestral tribe, the series traces Jackson’s personal journey from the U.S. to Gabon for his induction into the Benga tribe, with rare and unprecedented access to secret ceremonies and local customs. Using new diving technology — such as advanced 3D mapping and ground-penetrating radar — to locate and examine sunken slave ships on three continents, the series reveals an entirely new perspective on the history of the transatlantic slave trade. The series also tracks the efforts of Diving With a Purpose (DWP), a collaborating organization with The National Association of Black Scuba Divers (NABS), as they search for and locate six slave ships that sank drowning the enslaved humans aboard. Featuring the most dives ever made on sunken slave ships, Enslaved also chronicles the first positive identification of a “Freedom Ship,” an American schooner that ferried African American runaways to Canada. Each episode follows three separate story lines: the quest for a sunken slave ship, a personal journey by Samuel L. Jackson and a historical investigation led by investigative journalists Simcha Jacobovici and Afua Hirsch. Enslaved also celebrates stories of resistance, accomplishment and hope; the cultures left behind and the culture that we live in presently…a culture that, in many ways, was born in the bowels of those sunken slave ships.

Tonight is also the series premiere of We Are Who We Are on HBO at 10/9c. A story about two American kids who live on a U.S. military base in Italy, the series explores friendship, first-love, identity, and immerses the audience in all the messy exhilaration and anguish of being a teenager — a story which could happen anywhere in the world, but in this case, happens in this little slice of America in Italy. It stars Alice Braga (Queen of the South), Chloe Sevigny (The Act, The Cosmopolitans, Hit and Miss, Those Who Kill), Corey Knight, Faith Alabi, Jack Dylan Grazer (Me, Myself & I), Sebastiano Pigazzi, Spence Moore II (Five Points), & Tom Mercier.
