Overnight was the complete limited series premiere of The American Guest on HBO Max. This four-part miniseries follows the journey of former U.S. president Teddy Roosevelt, played by Aidan Quinn, alongside Brazilian army officer Candido Rondon in a quest to explore unknown regions and come face to face with indigenous inhabitants of the Brazilian Amazon.

Tonight is the series premiere of BMF on Starz at 9/8c. The show follows the story of two brothers who created the Black Mafia Family, the most prominent drug distribution network in American History. Starring Russell Hornsby (The Hate U Give, Fences, Grimm), Ajona Alexus (Empire, 13 Reasons Why), Demetrius ‘Lil Meech’ Flenory, and Jon Chaffin.

Tonight is the series premiere of Nuclear Family on HBO at 10/9c. A three-part documentary series following filmmaker Ry Russo-Young as she turns the camera on her own past to explore the meaning of family. In the late 70s/early 80s, when the concept of a gay family was inconceivable to most, Ry and her sister Cade were born to two lesbian mothers through sperm donors. Ry’s idyllic childhood was threatened by an unexpected lawsuit which sent shockwaves through her family’s lives and continues to reverberate today. The docuseries explores the extraordinary story of a first-generation lesbian family, from its origins in outlaw counterculture, to the mainstream court system’s attack on and ultimate defense of Ry’s and her moms’ rights and existence, ending in a landmark legal decision that would change the way gay families were perceived forever. At its heart, this story of epochal conflict is also a tale about empathy, as Ry investigates the ambitions and desires of her moms, her sperm donor, and all their allies and enemies as she struggles to hear and accept their divergent perspectives. In a world of deeply polarized thinking, the docuseries proposes a way of understanding conflict that resonates with anyone who struggles with issues unresolved within their own families, their own lives, and in our broader world.

Overnight was the complete US first season premiere of Good Grief on Sundance Now. (The series will premiere on IFC on October 5.) The six-episode comedy series is set in a small New Zealand town and follows two millennial sisters with very different personalities who inherit a funeral home from their grandfather. Unsure what to do with the funeral home – or the oddball staff that keep the place running – Ellie and Gwen Goode (Eve and Grace Palmer) are thrust into a world of embalming, emceeing, and embarrassment. Recently fired from her teaching career, Ellie starts to warm to the job, but all Gwen wants to do is go DJ in Bali. By staring death in the face every day, Ellie and Gwen begin to confront the realities of their own life, and what they want to make of it. Good Grief finds light in the darkness, weaving both the comedy and tragedy of life into a rich emotional tapestry.

Overnight was the complete first season premiere of Ten Year Old Tom on HBO Max. A bitingly-funny adult animated comedy series, Ten Year Old Tom follows the misadventures of an average kid as he contends with questionable guidance from the well-meaning grownups around him. Being a kid is hard enough for Tom, but when bad influences seem to lurk around every corner – from litigious parents and drug dealing bus drivers to school administrators who want to sleep with his mom – it’s downright impossible. While the adults in Tom’s life certainly mean well, they just can’t manage to lead by example. The series is created and written by Steve Dildarian (The Life & Times of Tim), who will executive produce with TV animation veteran Nick Weidenfeld (The Boondocks, Rick & Morty). Dildarian plays the lead character Tom alongside a talented cast of actors and comedians including Byron Bowers, Todd Glass, Gillian Jacobs, Edi Patterson and John Malkovich with guest appearances by David Duchovny, Jennifer Coolidge, Natasha Lyonne, Mark Proksch, Tim Robinson, George Wallace, and more.

Overnight was the complete first half of the first season premiere of The Way Down: God, Greed and the Cult of Gwen Shamblin on HBO Max. The five-episode documentary series examines the controversial Remnant Fellowship Church and its founder, the late Gwen Shamblin Lara. The first three episodes aired overnight, while the final two episodes will debut in early 2022. After rising to fame with her Weigh Down Workshop, a Christian-based diet program that preached slenderness as next to godliness, Gwen Shamblin Lara founded the Tennessee-based church. Despite a carefully curated image, Lara and the church soon fielded accusations of emotional, psychological, and physical abuse, and exploitation for their alleged cult-like practices. Encompassing years of investigation and extensive interviews with former members and others personally impacted, the limited series explores the legacy of Remnant’s infamous leader -whose life came to a shocking end after a plane crash in May 2021.

Overnight was the complete limited series premiere of Unidentified with Demi Lovato on Peacock. This is an unscripted series that follows Lovato and their skeptical best friend Matthew and their sister Dallas, as they search for the truth about the UFO phenomena. While consulting with leading experts, Demi, Dallas and Matthew will investigate recent eyewitness encounters, uncover secret government reports, and conduct tests at known UFO hot spots. Demi is a true believer, and during this courageous adventure, they hope to convince their friends, family and their social fans and followers that not only do E.T.’s exist but that they are already on earth! Demi plans to gain new insights into extra-terrestrials through interviewing scientists, eyewitnesses, alien abductees and conducting UFO experiments. They believe extra-terrestrials are here to help us save our planet and ourselves. This series is an immersive docu-follow exploration of Demi’s quest, along with Dallas and Matthew, told through Demi’s unique and entertaining point of view.

Today is the complete limited series premiere of Noted: Alicia Keys The Untold Stories on YouTube at 12PM/11AMc. In this four part documentary series, Alicia takes us inside the world of Keys through her journey from vulnerable young star, to self empowered woman, musician and mother.

Tonight is the complete first season premiere of All or Nothing: Toronto Maple Leafs on Amazon at 12:01AM/11:01PMc. This multi-episode docuseries will offer an inside view of the iconic Toronto Maple Leafs including on-the-ice action and unparalleled behind-the-scenes access to the 2020-21 NHL season. The latest addition of the All or Nothing docuseries franchise will follow the Toronto Maple Leafs organization as they compete in the first all-Canadian division in NHL history, offering an intimate look into the world of the players, coaches and team personnel. The Maple Leafs, one of the most celebrated franchises in professional sports, will open their regular season schedule tonight at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto when they take on Original Six rival, the Montreal Canadiens.
