Tonight is the network series premiere of The Woman in the Wall on Showtime. The series centers on Lorna Brady (Ruth Wilson), a woman from the small, fictional Irish town of Kilkinure, who wakes one morning to find a corpse in her house. Chillingly, Lorna has no idea who the dead woman is or if she, herself, might be responsible for the apparent murder. That’s because Lorna has long suffered from extreme bouts of sleepwalking ever since she was ripped from her life at the age of 15 and incarcerated in The Kilkinure Convent, a (fictional) home to one of Ireland’s infamous Magdalene Laundries for women. There, Lorna gave birth to her daughter Agnes, who cruelly was taken from her and whose fate Lorna never has known. Detective Colman Akande (Daryl McCormack) is now also on Lorna’s tail for a crime seemingly unrelated to the body she has discovered in her house. His scathing wit hides a quiet sadness, and when he meets Lorna, he finds himself forced to confront his own haunting secrets. As Colman searches for a murderer and Lorna searches for her daughter, their paths collide in ways they never could have anticipated. The series also stars Simon Delaney, Philippa Dunne, Mark Huberman, Hilda Fay, Frances Tomelty, and Dermot Crowley. The series premiered last week on Paramount+ with Showtime.

Overnight was the complete first season premiere of In the Know on Peacock. Lauren Caspian is NPR’s third most popular host. He’s a well-meaning, hypocritical nimrod, just like you and me. He’s also a stop motion puppet. Each episode follows the making of an episode of Lauren’s show In the Know, in which Lauren conducts in-depth interviews with real world human guests. Overnight was the complete first season premiere of Masters of the Universe: Revolution on Netflix. It’s technology versus magic as He-Man and friends fight back against the shadowy forces of Skeletor in an epic battle for the heart of Eternia. Overnight was the complete first season premiere of Sexy Beast on Paramount+. The eight-episode UK series serves as a prequel to the 2000 crime thriller film of the same name. It traces the relationship between best friends and thieves Gal Dove (James McArdle) and Don Logan (Emun Elliott), who together become involved in London’s criminal world during the 1990s. Gal begins a romance with the seductively alluring adult film star Deedee (Sarah Greene), which proves to be a dangerous endeavor.
