Tonight is the complete limited series premiere of Arctic Ascent with Alex Honnold on NGC starting 8/7c (with the other 2 episodes at 9:02/8:02c & 10:02/9:02c). Alex Honnold embarks on an epic quest of unclimbed walls in one of the most remote corners of Greenland, a country on the frontline of the climate crisis. Honnold has always dreamed of exploring Greenland and its unclimbed peaks. Now he and world-class climbers Hazel Findlay and Mikey Schaefer attempt to summit Ingmikortilaq, an unclimbed Arctic seacliff that rises out of the frozen wilderness and is nearly 1,000 feet higher than Free Solo’s El Capitan. For Honnold, a long-time climate activist, this expedition is about more than just climbing, it is an opportunity to witness firsthand the impact of climate change on a wilderness that is vitally important to the future of the planet. With the help of Dr. Heïdi Sevestre, a glaciologist working with the Arctic Monitoring and Assessment Program, Greenlandic guide Adam Kjeldsen and renowned adventurer Aldo Kane, the team use a special radar to take real-time depth and density measurements of a rarely studied section of Greenland’s ice cap. Arctic Ascent with Alex Honnold is a three-part scientific expedition led by one of the world’s greatest climbers in pursuit of a lifelong dream.

Robin Roberts narrates this insightful documentary that explores the leadership, sacrifice and valor of the 15th National Guard, which would become a part of the 369th Infantry and one of WWI’s best military regiments.

Overnight was the complete limited series premiere of #Cybersleuths: The Idaho Murders on Paramount+. The series follows an obsessed group of TikTok true-crime sleuths as they sift through clues, explore leads and try to unravel the brutal murders of four students at the University of Idaho. The case has gripped public attention since November 13, 2022, when students Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Ethan Chapin and Xana Kernodle were found dead in a blood-soaked off-campus house in Moscow, Idaho. Weeks passed without a suspect, which led to widespread speculation that perhaps the small town’s police department was in over its head. The absence of any solid lead created an information vacuum that the TikTokers were eager to fill as this whodunit case mushroomed into an American obsession. #Cybersleuths: The Idaho Murders follows a dynamic group of amateur TikTok detectives, led by #chroniclesofolivia, in their attempt to separate rumor from fact while examining police statements and hunting for digital clues. These amateur detectives are not restricted to follow police procedures. In the series, they visit the crime scene, speak to victims’ families, and dig up potential witnesses while activating an online community that is brimming with theories and possible suspects. Was the killer a roommate, a jealous ex or a complete stranger? Did he or she act alone, or were there accomplices? As the investigation goes into viral overdrive with fingers pointed in all directions, innocent lives are upended. The series ultimately raises the question: Do TikTok sleuths do more harm than good?

Overnight was the premiere of the feature film The Marvels on Disney+. Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel, has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as “The Marvels.”
 
Tonight is the 2-hour “Two Chances to Make the Tournament” special for Tournament of Champions on Food Network at 8/7c. With only 32 slots on the “Tournament of Champions” bracket, host Guy Fieri introduces a qualifier round of battles where 16 TOC wannabes bring their knives to the TOC arena and fight for their right to make it into the main event.

Overnight was the three-episode series premiere of Couple to Throuple on Peacock. Hosted by Scott Evans and guided by Sex and Relationship expert Shamyra Howard, the show follows four curious couples through the world of polyamory as they experiment with bringing a third partner into their relationship. Set at a remote tropical resort, the couples will meet, mingle, and date a group of singles, many of whom are experienced in polyamory. With three times the fun, the feelings, and drama, these relationships are put through the ultimate test to see if they are the perfect match. Overnight was the documentary film special They Called Him Mostly Harmless on Max. When an unidentified hiker is found deceased in the Florida wilderness, authorities release a sketch. Multiple hikers call in claiming to have met the man. There’s only one problem – he never told them his name. It would take two years, thousands of devoted internet sleuths, and a miracle of science to identify him, and that’s when the trouble really starts. A character-centric reimagining of a classic true crime genre, They Called Him Mostly Harmless is about finding yourself when you’re looking for someone else.
 
Tonight is the 2-hour special, Truth and Lies: Fatal Dive to the Titanic, on ABC at 8/7c. Entrepreneur Stockton Rush’s Titan submersible becomes a cautionary tale about the risks of innovation during an ill-fated dive to take tourists into the deep sea to view the fabled Titanic wreckage.
 
Tonight is the premiere of the feature film Upgraded on Amazon at 12:01AM/11:01PMc. Ana (Camila Mendes) is an ambitious intern dreaming of a career in the art world while trying to impress her demanding boss Claire (Marisa Tomei). Tonight is the premiere of the feature film Suncoast on Hulu at 12:01AM/11:01PMc. Inspired by the semi-autobiographical story of a teenager who, while caring for her brother along with her audacious mother, strikes up an unlikely friendship with an eccentric activist who is protesting one of the most landmark medical cases of all time. The film tells the story of what happens when Margot, a college sophomore goes on a date with the older Robert, she finds that IRL Robert doesn’t live up to the Robert she has been flirting with over texts.
