Tonight is the series premiere of Mr Bates vs The Post Office on PBS at 9/8c. Award-winning actor Toby Jones (Empire of Light, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Sherlock) stars in this shockingly true David vs Goliath story following one of the greatest miscarriages of justice in British legal history. When money started to seemingly disappear from its local branches, the government-owned UK Post Office wrongly blamed its own managers for the apparent loss. Hundreds were harassed, accused of theft and fraud, even sent to prison—leaving lives, marriages, and reputations in ruins. But the issue was actually caused by errors in the Post Office’s own computer system; something it denied for years. This is the story of decent, ordinary, and real-life people who were relentlessly pursued, coerced, and controlled by a powerful corporation, and their seemingly unsurmountable battle to right so many horrific wrongs. Along with Toby Jones, the stellar ensemble cast includes Julie Hesmondhalgh (The Pact, The Trouble With Maggie Cole), Alex Jennings (The Crown, Victoria, Unforgotten), Ian Hart (The Responder), Lia Williams (The Crown, The Capture), Will Mellor (Coronation Street, No Offence), Clare Calbraith (Grace, Home Fires, Unforgotten, Baptiste), Shaun Dooley (Gentleman Jack, It’s A Sin, Grantchester), Lesley Nicol (Downton Abbey, Beecham House), and Katherine Kelly (Bloods, Gentleman Jack), among others.
 
Tonight is the series premiere of Space Shuttle Columbia: The Final Flight on CNN at 9/8c, followed by a 2nd new episode at 10/9c. The 4-episode miniseries examines the 2003 Space Shuttle disaster across four immersive episodes featuring exclusive interviews and revealing never-before-broadcast footage.

Overnight was the complete first season premiere of Unlocked: A Jail Experiment on Netflix. At an Arkansas detention facility, a sheriff implements a radical social experiment to grant men who are incarcerated more agency in this reality series.
 
Tonight is the complete first season premiere of Fallout on Amazon at 12:01AM/11:01PMc. Based on one of the greatest video game series of all time, Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. Two-hundred years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind—and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them. Tonight is the series premiere of Patti Stanger: The Matchmaker on The CW at 8/7c. Elly Conway, played by Bryce Dallas Howard, is the reclusive cat-loving author of a series of bestselling espionage novels about the impossibly glamorous secret agent Argylle (Henry Cavill) on a mission to unravel a nefarious spy syndicate. Overnight was the complete first season premiere of Good Times on Netflix. Nostalgia alert! Norman Lear’s 70s classic Good Times will return as an animated series! Carl Jones joins as showrunner for Lear’s first-ever animated series, in partnership with the likes of Steph Curry and Seth MacFarlane. Let the good times roll. In this edgy, irreverent reimagining of the TV Classic, a new generation of the Evans family keeps their heads above water in a Chicago housing project. It stars Yvette Nicole Brown, J.B. Smoove, Jay Pharoah, Marsai Martin, & Slink Johnson.
 
Tonight is the series premiere of Best Bite in Town on Food Network at 9/8c. While Executive Producer Guy Fieri’s schedule is packed visiting restaurants across the country on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, he is calling upon his pal Noah Cappe to help find the “Best Bite In Town” on the new Food Network series. In each episode, Noah assembles a Bite Club, featuring two chefs including, Tiffani Faison, Shota Nakajima, Joe Sasto, Aarti Sequeira, and Jet Tila. Together, they explore the local food scene in cities across the country, visiting six of the most popular spots in each one. After scouring the town and tasting a wide variety of cuisines, Noah and the Bite Club nominate three exceptional dishes to present to a panel of esteemed culinary judges to determine the “Best Bite In Town.”

Overnight was the premiere of the feature film Mayhem! on AMC+. Sam (Nassim Lyes) is a professional boxer about to be released from prison in France, but while on parole, his past catches up with him and he is forced to flee the country. Five years later, he has rebuilt a simple life on an exotic island in Thailand with his wife Mia and her daughter Dara, working multiple jobs to support his family and buy a piece of land to build a restaurant. As his life begins to improve, a job gone wrong puts Sam in the crosshairs of local crime lord Narong (Olivier Gourmet), who retaliates with brutal violence. Crushed but still alive, Sam is left with only one purpose: to seek merciless and bone-breaking vengeance.
 
Overnight was the premiere of the feature film Strange Way of Life on Netflix. To protect his son from a murder accusation, a cowboy has an intimate encounter with an ex-lover — now a sheriff — in hopes of influencing the lawmen. It stars Ethan Hawke, Pedro Pascal, Pedro Casablanc, Manu Rios, George Steane, Jose Condessa, Jason Fernandez, & Sara Salamo.
 
Tonight is the 2-hour special Born Free: Birth in America on Fuse at 1AM/12AMc. Director Paula James-Martinez investigates why the US is the only nation in the developed world with a rising maternal mortality rate.
