It’s a fairly slow week of TV (my guess is not only due to the Fourth of July here in the US but also because the networks are gearing up toward summer premieres), so given that and the fact that I am absolutely overwhelmed with work and personal life, I’ve done the weekly schedule but there will be no daily schedules this week. Overnight was the premiere of the feature film Memory on Paramount+. The story follows Sylvia (Jessica Chastain), a single mother and social worker who leads a simple, structured life but is grappling with her past. At her high school reunion, she is followed home by Saul (Peter Sarsgaard), a former classmate with early onset dementia, blowing open the door to the past that forces them both to deal with the past. It aired two seasons on the short-lived video service, running for a total of three seasons, ending in 2020. Now the gang is back with Tatro, Nick Colletti, Tanner Petulla, Cody Ko reprising their roles. With the 10-year high school reunion around the corner, Xander (Tatro) and his squad embark on a journey to become the dopest versions of themselves in time to flex on all of their old classmates.
