So apparently my hard drive was completely dead. They tried to pull a backup copy but no dice, which made me cry for hours today. I won’t get it back till tomorrow evening, so i just won’t have the time or energy to do the schedule after getting ot all set up again. I’m so sorry. 🙁

No worries Jenny, get it fixed then start over. Been there a few times. It’s why I have 10+ thumbdrives and a Terrabyte drive for external storgage.
Out of simple curiosity… did you lose a mechanical HDD or a thin SSD? And how many years did it last for you?
Hehe It was an SSD and just over 2 years. Thank goodness for extended warranties.

Yeah. I definitely did not want to start a big discussion of what you have and what went down and….. I Myself, sound like a Phoebe (in the comments) and I have lot’s of backups cause I just don’t trust my hard drives forever. Some HDDs last 12 years and then do the click of death. Sometimes, you look at a cheap SSD the wrong way… your toast. Jenny, this is a small group of nice people who know you have to reget your device working and then struggle with actual work or finding your fonts, or why is that opening that way…
I am sure everyone agrees… Jenny , ride the wave on this minor upgrade, and we all want to here back from you late sunday nights.

haha Luckily I don’t have to do anything special for this site once I have my laptop back. I use Google Sheets and WordPad to write everything up, so nothing out of the ordinary! 🙂 I will for sure be back for next week!
