Tonight is the series premiere of Brian and Maggie on PBS at 8/7c. 1989. Two old friends, politician-turned-journalist Brian Walden and Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, sit for one of the most famous political exchanges of all time, one that would end a political era and a long-term friendship as it reshaped national opinion and triggered the downfall of the Iron Lady.
 
Tonight is the series premiere of Maigret on PBS at 9/8c. There’s a new detective on the streets of Paris! Benjamin Wainwright stars as Jules Maigret in this contemporary adaptation of Georges Simenon’s beloved novels. Chief Inspector Maigret and his team of maverick but loyal detectives, Les Maigrets, solve a series of complex crimes in Paris. Maigret’s unconventional methods and unique sense of justice put him at odds with his superiors and the judicial system he is supposed to represent. Maigret must outwit some of Paris’s most cunning and violent criminals, while dealing with his own troubled past. It also stars Nathalie Armin, Stefanie Martini, Blake Harrison, Kerrie Hayes, Reda Elazouar, Rob Kazinsky, & Shaniqua Akwok.
 
Tonight is the series premiere of Tony Shalhoub Breaking Bread on CNN at 9/8c. The show follows award-winning actor Tony Shalhoub (Monk, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) on a mouthwatering journey around the world, with bread serving as the conduit into a variety of international cuisines and cultures.
 
Tonight is the series premiere of New Orleans: Soul of a City on CNN at 10/9c. Twenty years ago, Hurricane Katrina tore through the Gulf Coast, flooding much of New Orleans and driving tens of thousands to seek shelter in the storm-battered Superdome. Once a scene of desperation, the stadium became a cornerstone of the city’s recovery — its revival culminating in the New Orleans Saints’ 2010 Super Bowl win, a moment that told the world the city was back. Tonight’s premiere also aired in August as a special preview.

Tonight is the premiere of the TV movie Heartstrings Attached on UPtv at 7/6c. With the promise of an inheritance from her grandfather spurring her, Emma promises to tutor gifted violinist Ava Field, unaware her grandfather is playing matchmaker from the grave. It stars Morgan Bradley & Chris Connell.
 
Tonight is the new Halloween special, “A Little Fright Music,” for Family Guy on Hulu at 12:01AM/11:01PMc. Brian and Stewie realize there is a shortage of quality Halloween songs, so they set out to write a hit, and Peter and the guys discover that lying about trick or treating can have deadly consequences.

Overnight was the 3-episode special Elizabeth Taylor: Rebel Superstar on FOX Nation, streaming for the first time in the US. The special delivers an intimate look inside the life of one of the most iconic women of the twentieth century, peeling back the glamour to uncover the force of nature behind the fame. Each episode explores how Taylor shattered Hollywood’s glass ceiling, built a billion-dollar business empire, and transformed celebrity activism through her pioneering work in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Overnight was the complete limited series premiere of Red Alert on Paramount+. Premiering two years to the day of the historical terror attacks on Israel by Hamas, the limited series portrays the largest and deadliest massacre in Israel’s history, when more than 1,200 concert-goers, families and individuals near the Gaza border were murdered and 250 kidnapped. Drawing from the true experiences of those who survived, the series weaves their courageous personal stories into a cinematic narrative of the devastating terrorist attack that turned southern Israel into a war zone, testing humanity and forging heroism through chaos. The eight-part series, hosted by Jesse Burgess, food expert and co-founder of the global food and travel platform Topjaw, takes viewers inside the emotionally charged, high-stakes world of fine dining – capturing the pressure and ambition that define the road to Michelin recognition.
 
Tonight is the 2-episode series premiere of The Last Frontier on Apple TV+ at 12:01AM/11:01PMc. Set within the remote wilderness of Alaska, the 10-episode thriller follows Frank Remnick (Jason Clarke), the lone U.S. marshal in charge of the quiet, rugged barrens of Alaska. Overnight was the premiere of the documentary film Saquon on Amazon. This began as a video diary documenting Saquon Barkley’s ACL recovery five years ago. But the camera kept rolling after his return, revealing an intimate journey through his frustrations over the lack of control of his career, quiet family moments, and ultimately, his dominant year with the Eagles, culminating in a storybook Super Bowl win on his birthday. This is Saquon like you have never seen him before.
