Tonight is the series premiere of Killer Grannies on Oxygen at 8/7c. This new true-crime series hosted by Oscar-nominated actress June Squibb chronicles shocking cases involving a killer no one would suspect: Grandma. In every self-contained episode, a rollercoaster ride of a case unfolds as investigators dig deep and chase every lead until they finally catch their unexpected killer. Through gripping archival footage, selective recreations and cinematic imagery, and in-depth interviews with investigators, prosecutors, friends and family, every episode will peel back the plastic cover on the couch to uncover a world of sinister plots and evil deeds unpacking why and how these maternal matriarchs of the family can turn deadly.

Tonight is the 90-minute series premiere of Sweet Empire: Winter Wars on Food Network at 9/8c. Fourteen of the most competitive and talented sweets makers are invited to the Yuletide Lodge for a competition unlike any other. While the competitors enter as individuals, their goal will be to get on–and stay on–the strongest team by any means necessary, because in this game the bakers must create incredible edible works of art to grow their teams and avoid elimination. In the end, teams will crumble until only the strongest will be left standing to become the Sweet Empire. Wells Adams will host, with Jacques Torres and Yolanda Gampp serving as judges in this holiday baking competition with an edge. Fans can follow #SweetEmpire across Food Network social platforms for exclusive content shot on set with host Wells Adams, plus culinary demos from Yolanda Gampp and Jacques Torres.

Tonight is the complete limited series premiere of Caroline Flack: Search for the Truth on Hulu at 12:01AM/11:01PMc. The series examines the shocking story of Caroline Flack, Love Island presenter and one of Britain’s biggest stars. After her arrest in 2019, she became the target of a relentless media storm. Vilified in the press and online, her world spiraled — ending in tragedy when she took her own life. This powerful two-part documentary follows Caroline’s mother, Christine, as she investigates the truth about her daughter’s final months, uncovering new shocking details, asking difficult questions, and exposing the misrepresentations, pressures, and failures from institutions and decision makers that shaped Caroline’s final days. With access to powerful testimony from Caroline’s inner circle and those who were there, the series tells the story she never got to share and reveals an unprecedented look at what really happened to Caroline Flack.

Tonight is the 1-hour special The Golden GIrls: 40 Years of Laughter and Friendship on ABC at 10:01/9:01c. The special looks at the lasting cultural phenomenon of the beloved sitcom four decades after it originally premiered. It chronicles the making of The Golden Girls, from its early inception and pilot episode to becoming one of the most treasured shows in television history. At a time when Hollywood heavily favored youth, The Golden Girls famously put four older women — Bea Arthur, Betty White, Rue McClanahan and Estelle Getty — front and center, using uninhibited comedy to rewrite the narrative for women over 50. Often tackling taboo and groundbreaking topics, the sitcom redefined aging, while its timeless appeal has attracted new audiences and created a lasting influence on pop culture. The special features new interviews with series creator Susan Harris, Emmy(R) Award-winning executive producer Tony Thomas and director Terry Hughes, and includes rarely seen behind-the-scenes footage of rehearsals, outtakes and camaraderie on set. The special also features new interviews with celebrity fans of the show, including Sheryl Lee Ralph, Kelly Ripa, Laverne Cox, Erika Alexander, Pamela Adlon and former guest star Mario Lopez, as well as interviews with many of the sitcom’s original writers and producers. The documentary ultimately pays tribute to the legendary actresses who brought the main characters of Dorothy, Blanche, Rose and Sophia to life, while also taking viewers inside the world of fans of the show, including dedicated trivia nights, podcasts, fashion collections, live theater shows and even college courses.
