Welcome to TV Is My Pacifier!
My name is Jenny, and I’m the creator and owner of TV Is My Pacifier. I started this site back in early 2007, just as a fun way to keep track, for myself and a few friends, of what was on TV during the week. As is the case too often (according to my weary husband!), my imagination and ambition grew until I was adding new types of posts, reworking how the posts looked, and continued adding and changing for a few years. At the beginning of August 2010, my husband and I began working on a complete redesign of TV Is My Pacifier, and the new design went live on September 5, 2010. I’m always looking for ways to improve the look and design, though, so if you have thoughts, feel free to share!
I would be hard pressed to list my favorite shows, as the list seems to change daily. My favorite shows of all-time were Alias and Veronica Mars, and I was absolutely DEVESTATED when they ended. I LOVED the Veronica Mars movie but not so much the series. My favorite kind of shows are procedurals like the NCIS and FBI franchises (I really, really miss all the CSI shows and loved the CSI revival!), as well as all the #OneChicago shows (Chicago PD, Chicago Fire, & Chicago Med). I like a handful of comedies and a few reality competition shows, & I love cooking shows (mainly cooking competition shows).
I’ve been married to my husband Scott for over 25 years, and we have one (adult) son. Professionally, I am a freelance fiction book editor working with a few publishing companies as well as independent authors. I love my jobs. I’m a big reader, so getting to read books and edit as a paying job is a dream come true.
I hope you enjoy TV Is My Pacifier and that you find it useful! If there is ever anything you want to suggest or comment on, please feel free to Email Me. You can also catch me on Twitter or Facebook.

I love this site! It lists all shows even from networks like amazon, hulu and netflix
Hi Jenny, thank you so much for all you do! I’ve been following your website for years, and it has definitely helped pacify my need for knowing about new content for all the streaming and cable services. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas, and have a Great New Year!!
Thank you, Arthur! I appreciate it very much.
Hi. I just discovered your site last month and am so happy. How often do you update though because it seems to have stopped last week.
Thank you. 🙂 Sorry about that. There was an issue with caching, and it didn’t update when I posted the schedule that week, but it’s since been fixed. 🙂
Jenny,
Dont worry about this week October 22nd thru end.
You already do 99 and 44/100% percent of the work.
As I’ve mentioned anonymously, before, one of my favorite parts of my week is to log-in on sundays, grab all your work, throw it in a word document, and plan my television for the week. Then anyone witha ‘brain’ can check out NoReruns.net to grab spare pbs and other gems.
It is always surprising some of the complaints you get for a free service.
Hope your family is doing well this week.
Jenny,
Email and texts are the worst ways to communicate.
I have been a long time fan of the website. May look into merch.
My comment about anyone with a brain….I assumed most of your readers could figure that out and use one or two websites you don’t have time to track.
You save us so much work each week, and anyone who is not polite to you can ….. lets be polite..
Don’t worry about adding NoReruns.net to your already busy schedule. It captures random channels, pbs new and reruns, and misc. I think everyone here appreciates what you bring to the table.
So my “brain” comment” was meant toward the self suffice-rs who shouldn’t have a hissyfit if you sleep in one morning.
Well, rock on! Tuneing in each week for your assist.
v/r,
perplexed and behind on my last wednesday’s shows/ the horror!
