If We Controlled Your Remote… 11/9/18

Megan’s Choice

MacGyver was very interesting last week watching Murdoc and Mac work together to save Murdoc’s son. Of course, Mac wasn’t doing it by choice but because Murdoc had kidnapped his girlfriend and was holding her hostage until he got his son back. We got a detailed look into Murdoc’s past when we met his ex-wife, who turned out to be working with the man who kidnapped her and Murdoc’s son. In the end, Murdoc realized that his son would be safer without him, so he agreed to go into prison if Mac put his son into protective custody. I think this situation also showed Mac how dangerous it may be for him to have a girlfriend in the line of work he’s in, but I hope he gets over his fears, because he deserves happiness as well.

On tonight’s episode, “Scavengers + Hard Drive + Dragonfly,” Matty sends MacGyver and team to Ghana to recover a hard drive from an e-waste landfill that is run by a powerful and violent man. But when Matty refuses to reveal what’s on the drive, other than a mysterious file called “Dragonfly,” the team speculates about what could be so important to her.
