If We Controlled Your Remote… 10/7/11

We’ve made it through another week, and I am so happy. It’s a long weekend here in Canada, for our Thanksgiving. Tomorrow, I’ll be baking a couple of pies, but tonight, I’m going to be kicking back and enjoying some delicious TV. Let’s see what you should be watching tonight.

It wouldn’t be a wonderful Friday without the Reagans in my living room. I love Blue Bloods, and last week’s episode was heart wrenching. From the moment that Danny shot that police officer by mistake, to the end of the episode when he had a silent moment of male forgiveness with the cop he shot, I was riveted. It was great how Danny understood completely why his dad, the police commissioner, couldn’t swoop in and save him. That made think more highly of the whole Reagan family.

On tonight’s episode, “Critical Condition,” Danny learns that a former cop was involved in an attempted bank robbery. Meanwhile, Jamie works with a new partner (Monica Raymund).

If We Controlled Your Remote… 9/30/11

Thank goodness that Friday is finally here. It’s been a fabulous week of television, but is anyone else exhausted? My DVR is begging me to stop overusing it, and the Fall TV season is just getting started. Let’s take a look at what you should be watching tonight.

Last week’s season premiere of Blue Bloods was good to the last drop. I loved how Jamie (Will Estes) got his first undercover assignment. He was a natural at it, and it looks like it might lead to a bigger undercover assignment with the mob. I’ll admit it was nice to see Jamie out of his uniform, because let’s be honest, he’s easy on the eyes. The new mayor is sneaky, and I can see there is going to be a lot of drama between him and Frank (Tom Selleck).

On tonight’s episode, Danny accidentally shoots a cop who failed to identify himself and is investigated by Internal Affairs. During the probe, Danny is put on desk duty while officers try to determine his state of mind on the day of the shooting.

If We Controlled Your Remote… 9/23/11

We’ve survived the first big week back, with just Friday night to get through now. How did everyone do? Are there shows you loved, and ones that let you down? We want to hear all about it below. For now, though, let’s take a look at all the delectable television you should be watching tonight.

This time last year, Blue Bloods was just premiering and had yet to prove itself. At the end of its first season, it had captured all of our attentions and made us fans. I love the cast, and I really enjoy the way they manage to balance the family relationships throughout the cases. Donnie Wahlberg is very convincing in his role as Danny, and he’s not hard to watch, either.

The second season begins with a supporter of the new mayor being murdered and the mayor asking Frank to spin the story so it looks like a random act of violence. Meanwhile, Jamie gets his first undercover assignment.

See why this police drama is nothing like the rest when you tune in to CBS at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Blue Bloods @ Clicker.
