If We Controlled Your Remote… 3/21/12

Last night, I saw the movie Project X, and let me say that it was both hilarious and terrifying. It was so funny in so many ways, but it was also a slight scary for the future of our youth. Although, if my daughter threw a party like that in the future, I’m pretty sure there would be a small piece of me that was incredibly proud of her ingenuity – mostly, I’d be furious. Enough about movies, though. Let’s see what’s on TV tonight to help you get your midweek relax on.

Megan’s Choice

It’s never an dull night on American Idol. Okay, maybe there can be, but last week’s episode was filled with drama, thanks to Jermaine Jones. Then of course there was the amazing performance of “When a Man Loves a Woman” by Joshua that brought the whole place to it’s feet and gave me goosebumps. It amazes me that I only have one person this season so far that I really dislike – DeAndre (aka Side Show Bob). He’s just so incredibly annoying. Last week, Shannon’s attempt at “One Fine Day” (by Mariah Carey/Boyz II Men) led to her ultimate demise. Farewell.

Let’s hope tonight, the Top 10 bring us another awe inspiring moment as they take the stage to fight for your votes.

To see the contestants try to prove they are worthy, tune in to FOX at 8/7c. Learn where to find episodes online of American Idol @ Clicker.

Tonight, I’m also watching Criminal Minds, Bent, One Tree Hill, , CSI, & Survivor.

Interview with Amanda Peet, David Walton, & Executive Producer Tad Quill from NBC’s Bent

Tonight is the series premiere of Bent, a new romantic comedy on NBC about a womanizing, surfer dude contractor and his beautiful, no-nonsense, type-A client, who work together to remodel each other’s lives as they renovate her Venice, California home.

On the surface, Alex (Amanda Peet, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip) and Pete (David Walton, Perfect Couples) could not be more different. The recently divorced Alex is a hard-working, high-strung lawyer who is raising her 10-year-old daughter, Charlie (Joey King, Ramona and Beezus), as a single mom following her husband’s incarceration for insider trading.
