Tonight, after six exciting seasons, NBC’s Grimm finally comes to an end. Last week, Nick and Eve were inside the mirror trying to launch an attack on the Zerstorer, but they quickly realized they were no match for this creature and his powerful staff. Diana managed to re-open the portal and rescue Nick and Eve, but somehow the trip caused Eve to no longer be a Hexenbiest. Meanwhile, Diana sensed something was wrong and realized that the Zerstorer was also able to escape back into the real world and was now coming for her. As Rosalee and Adalind cast a spell to conceal Diana from the beast, the others, including a newly returned Trubel, looked for a way to stop the Zerstorer. However, when Hank and Wu headed to the police station, they found themselves face-to-face with the beast, who seemingly stabbed them both to death as Nick watched in horror.

Is this truly the end of Hank and Wu? I mean, I know this is the end of the show, but they can’t just die like that, right? There’s got to be some way to bring them back! How will Nick and the others stop the Zerstorer? Will anyone else die in the process? And will we finally see Eve turn back into the old Juliette just in time to give her and Nick a happy ending? I’m looking forward to seeing how it all plays out and how the series comes to close tonight.

On tonight’s finale, “The End,” Nick must look to his ancestors for strength to save the world from a terrifying end as he faces off against a seemingly unbeatable foe. At the Spice Shop, Monroe, Rosalee, and Eve search for answers and stumble upon a rare potion that may help the fight. Elsewhere, Capt. Renard and Adalind try to keep Diana and baby Kelly safe as the threat has its eyes set on the children.

See how our favorite Portland gang handles the beast and who lives and dies tonight on NBC at 8/7c.

I’ll also be watching/recording Sleepy Hollow & Tangled: The Series.

I was really hyped when I heard that MacGyver and Hawaii Five-0 would be doing a crossover, because I love both shows and think it could be amazing. After reading details in an interview with one of the producers or whatever, I’m not as excited. It should still be fun, but they could have done SO MUCH MORE. Regardless, it looks like a fun episode of MacGyver, and I always love the gang in Hawaii, so… Just FYI… Other than a mention of Mac (& the team?) on Hawaii Five-0, the crossover ONLY happens in MacGyver.

On tonight’s episode of MacGyver, “Flashlight,” when Mac and the team travel to Hawaii to aid in earthquake relief efforts, they team up with Chin and Kono from the Five-0 task force to rescue a group of government scientists trapped in a building. However, as they work on the complicated rescue, a group using the chaos as a distraction aims to steal the top-secret weaponry from the scientists. Taylor Willy also guest stars as Kamekona.

Then on Hawaii Five-0, “Puka ‘ana (Exodus),” McGarrett and Kono suspect that an abused young girl may be the victim of a sex trafficking ring on the Island. Also, Chin and Grover investigate a murder at a sober living facility.

Get two hours of fun in Hawaii tonight on CBS, starting at 8/7c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing Grimm, Last Man Standing, & Blue Bloods.

Early this morning, Netflix dropped all 10 episodes of the first season of its new zombie comedy, Santa Clarita Diet. Husband and wife realtors Joel (Timothy Olyphant, Justified) and Sheila Hammond (Drew Barrymore) live a very boring, straight-laced life in the suburbs of Santa Clarita, CA, along with teenage daughter Abby (Liv Hewson, Dramaworld). They tend to keep their frustrations bottled up inside to keep from ruffling any feathers. That is, until Sheila undergoes a dramatic change that (ironically) gives her a new zest for life and an insatiable hunger. As they try to understand Sheila’s new condition, the Hammonds seek the advice of the nerdy teenager next door, Eric Bemis (Skyler Gisondo, Psych), who has a crush on Abby. Keeping Sheila’s hunger under control is of utmost importance, especially with Eric’s stepfather – L.A. sheriff’s department cop Dan (Ricardo Chavira, Desperate Housewives) – keeping a watchful eye.

I checked out the first two episodes, and I was instantly hooked. I found myself laughing out loud throughout, both from the writer and situational comedy as well as the hilarious physical humor. Drew Barrymore is so delightful and has great chemistry with Timothy Olyphant – the two of them are a perfect comedy duo and are joined by an equally-fun supporting cast. Just in the first two episodes, there were a lot of recognizable guest stars, and I look forward to seeing who else pops up throughout the rest of the season. I can’t wait to see how the rest of this unique and hilarious story plays out!

In the opener, the Hammonds are having trouble selling one of their listings, which continues to upset their boss (Andy Richter). New realtor Gary West (Nathan Fillion) moves into town and takes over the listing after Sheila has an extremely embarrassing incident in front of some potential buyers.

Check out the entire first season now on Netflix!

Tonight, I’ll also be watching/recording Grimm, Emerald City, Sleepy Hollow, and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

I’m always amazed at how much is on TV these days, and there’s no sign that things are slowing down anytime soon. Between Amazon and Netflix, entire seasons of four different shows are dropping today alone! I’m really looking forward to checking out Netflix’s new reality series, White Rabbit Project. “MythBusters” Kari Byron, Tory Belleci, and Grant Imahara have been reunited to investigate weird and wild events from history and pop culture in their fun, creative way. Some of the topics include jailbreaks, superpower technology, heists, and unconventional world war two weapons. The trio will devise experiments and build crazy contraptions, all in the name of uncovering the truth. The final season of MythBusters just didn’t feel the same without Kari, Tory, and Grant, so I’m thrilled to see that Netflix got the gang back together for more crazy, scientific fun!

Check out the fun investigations now on Netflix!

I’ll also be watching/recording Fuller House, Medici: Masters of Florence, MacGyver, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, LEGO Frozen Northern Lights, and Z Nation.

bluebloods1118smallI should have known it would work out on Blue Bloods last week, when the woman who’d been raped a few episodes before killed her rapist. When his new girlfriend (her former friend) wouldn’t listen to her warnings, she went to his place to warn him away, but he grabbed her by the throat and held her against the wall, so she shot him with the gun she’d brought with her. The current girlfriend said she didn’t see anything but later recanted when Erin emotionally blackmailed the rapist’s former attorney into representing the rape victim/killer. The guy got what he deserved, thank goodness. The other police story line was the sergeant who was at the bodega with his 10-year-old daughter before school, and a couple of guys came in to rob the place. Rather than confront them, which would have put his daughter in danger because there was no good place for her to hide, he kept himself and his daughter hidden from the bad guys. When they shot the kid working the register, he didn’t confront them, which earned him modified duty. But then later, he rushed into a dangerous situation, unarmed. He did a brave thing, but unfortunately, it got him shot. He was going to be fine, thankfully.

In other huge news (for shippers at least!), Eddie was jealous when Jamie offered his spare room to a young woman who got evicted from her apartment. Eddie denied being jealous, but then later, she came to Jamie’s apartment, admitted she has strong feelings for him, and after he admitted he has strong feelings for her as well, they kissed…twice! Finally! Unfortunately, they also don’t want to screw up their partnership and friendship, so I’m not sure where that story line will go. I want them to be partners so we can see them together, but I want them TOGETHER. Argh! Hopefully tonight we’ll see where it’s headed!

On tonight’s episode, “Confessions,” Frank is left with minimal information to find a missing boy when a conflicted priest who could help won’t break the seal of confession. Also, Danny and Baez investigate the death of a prominent New York City socialite with a secret life, and Jamie and Eddie attend a wedding together. Frankie J. Alvarez (Looking), Tim Guinee (Revolution, The Good Wife, Hell on Wheels), Stacy Keach (Crowded, Prison Break, Titus), & Chelsea Spack (Gotham) guest star.

See if they can find the missing boy and solve a murder tonight on CBS at 10/9c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing Hell’s Kitchen, Last Man Standing, MacGyver, & Hawaii Five-0.
