If We Controlled Your Remote… 5/4/11

Oh my word, my sinuses are driving me crazy! It feels like something in the back of my nose is tickling me and makes me want to sneeze, but only when I tilt my head certain ways. Bah. It’s very disconcerting! Poor Megan and her family are still dealing with horrible colds, too. I hope you and yours are healthier than we are! lol Even though we’re not all well, we still feel good enough to watch all the great new episodes on tonight. For what we think you should watch, check out our recommendations below!

Jenny’s Choice #1 (yes, multiple choices for me again!)

One of my favorite new comedies is Breaking In on FOX. I love love love Bret Harrison and Christian Slater, and the rest of the cast is brilliantly funny, as well. The show has quickly worked its way into the hearts of both me and my husband, and it’s a must-watch each week. I recently spoke to Alphonso McAuley, who plays Cash, and Executive Producer Adam F. Goldberg, and they were VERY funny. Tonight’s ep looks funny, and they had some fun things to say about it, too. Check out the great questions & answers!

On tonight’s episode, Oz and the team are assigned as protective duty for the sequel to a beloved cult classic at a comic-con convention, and an overly obsessed fanboy is at the top of the list of potential suspects after the only copy of the movie comes up missing.

If We Controlled Your Remote… 3/9/11

Have you not been tuning in to see Mr. Sunshine? Well, you’ve been missing out! Matthew Perry, writer and star of the show, continues his infamous sarcastic wit that you loved on Friends and added to it within the confines of a sports arena. Dash in a bit of wacky humor from the effortless Allison Janney, and you’ve got yourself a show worthy of kudos!

On tonight’s episode of Mr. Sunshine, Ben (Matthew Perry) agrees to take in Roman (Nate Torrence), you know who happens to be Crystal’s (Allison Janney) son. Gasp! We all know that whenever you allow a coworker to stay at your home, hijinx is bound to ensue. Meanwhile, Alice (Andrea Anders) starts feeling down, because she’s unable to keep up with boyfriend, Alonzo (James Lesure). Add in an on-ice battle between Crystal and a Smurf…and you’ve got comedy gold!

If We Controlled Your Remote… 3/2/11

It’s Wednesday, which means the middle of the week. It’s also one of my favorite nights of television, so I’m excited! Baby Watch 2011: Still Baking! Now let’s see what we, including the anxious, tired, expectant mommy, recommend.

Jenny’s Choice

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know big things are coming up for the team on Criminal Minds. Instead of fighting an as-of-yet “unknown” UNSUB, (I know, that’s kind of redundant!), this time, they are gearing up to fight a deadly enemy of one of their own. Prentiss’ old enemy is coming back to haunt her and her team. Last week, we saw evidence that the bad guy is keeping tabs on all our favorite BAUers. My question? How did he know Morgan and Garcia were watching movies…while they were still inside the FBI offices?!

On tonight’s episode, after a string of suspicious murders occurs, Prentiss starts to suspect that her old Interpol nemesis is somehow involved in the recent activity, causing her to fear for the safety of her BAU team as he closes in on her.

If We Controlled Your Remote… 2/23/11

Half way through the work week, and we’re plowing right through to Friday! Nothing says I’m all ready for the weekend like some Wednesday night comedy. You’ve been working hard, and it’s time to take a break to enjoy some much needed TV time. Escape into the world of TV, and let your mind wander into ignorant bliss!

Lisa’s Choice

Modern Family has turned into a must watch show for many a household. Letting the Dunpheys and Pritchetts into your household has become very popular, and for good reason, too! This dysfunctional extended family comes into your home every Wednesday night and provides that much needed relaxation you crave, especially when you realize, they aren’t your family!

Tonight, Gloria and Jay try to help when Phil and Claire get into a heated argument. Meanwhile, Cameron asks Mitchell and Luke for some assistance in helping to prepare for a big fundraising event.

If We Controlled Your Remote… 2/16/11

I’m taking the top today, and that just means you get to enjoy more of my fabulous ramblings. 🙂 This week has already been filled with great episodes, and tonight is nothing different. If anything, it’s going to be even better tonight, because there’s the premiere of the all new Criminal Minds: Suspect Behaviour after all new episode of the orignal. Let’s see what everyone is suggesting you watch tonight.

Megan’s Choice

While I strongly suggest you check out the new Criminal Minds: Suspect Behaviour, I’m going to stick with the original tonight. I love the dynamics of the original team, and the look of the sexy boys. Especially Shemar Moore… I adore him. 😀

On tonight’s episode, the BAU is called to upstate New York to investigate mysterious disappearances. Meanwhile, Prentiss receives some disturbing news about one of her former colleagues at Interpol.

Tune into CBS at 9/8c and then stay tuned for the new spin-off at 10/9c.
