If We Controlled Your Remote… 4/12/13

It has been a very hectic week, and I am so incredibly happy that it’s over! When Friday approaches, it’s like a tiny part of me is in my early twenties again—I think parties and hanging with friends…and then I remember I have children, so my Friday night will involve catching up on TV, but I’m okay with that because, after all, TV Is My Pacifier. 🙂

Megan’s Choice

bluebloods412smallWe’re being treated to another new episode of Blue Bloods tonight, and that makes any night a party night. Last episode, we saw Danny solve the case of a father that killed his daughter when she came to ask for his blessing for converting from Catholic to Muslim. It was a really sad episode and made me remember that no matter what our children choose, we should always support them.

One of the things I enjoy about this show is how they aren’t afraid to tackle the taboo subjects—and make them easier to relate to today’s culture.

On tonight’s episode, “Ends and Means,” when two Wall Street brokers are killed in drug deals, Danny looks to question a wounded accomplice at the hospital, but he is stopped by Linda, who won’t let Danny see him until after surgery. But when the accomplice dies during the procedure, Danny and Linda battle over the judgment call.

To see how everyone deals with the differences of opinions, tune in to CBS at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Blue Bloods @ TV.com.

I’ll also be watching Spartacus and Vice.
