Holy crap… Christmas is less than 6 weeks away! (Don’t shoot the messenger!) I cannot believe how fast time is flying by, and now all the fall finales start, as well as a bunch of Christmas specials, which I am always excited for. Speaking of Christmas specials, let’s see what we’re recommending tonight.

You can always count on Hallmark Channel to bring us some holiday cheer, and tonight they’re bringing it with a movie, Angels and Ornaments. I’m aware some of you may be avoiding these movies because it’s only November, but this TV addict is embracing the joy. One of the reasons that this movie caught my eye was because it stars Jessalyn Gilsig from Glee and one of my favorite actors from Flashpoint, Sergio Di Zio, who played Spike.
The movie follows Gilsig’s character, Corrine, as she prepares for her favorite holiday, auditioning for the Christmas concert at church and playing carols for shoppers at the music store where she works with her childhood friend Dave (Graham Abbey, Covert Affairs). Her holiday season gets a strange twist of romantic fate when a new co-worker, Harold (Di Zio), tries to form a love connection between Corrine and Dave. With Harold’s help, Corrine starts to see her friend in a different light, but she’s curious about Harold’s interest in her life. What Corrine doesn’t know is that Harold is on a Christmas Eve deadline from a higher power to make this holiday fairytale come true.
It’s a feel-good, romantic movie that is bound to help you get into the holiday spirit, so join me in feeling the joy when you tune in to Hallmark Channel at 8/7c.
