Now that we’re coming to the end of November, how many of you have started putting up Christmas lights and decorations? We haven’t yet, but we plan to soon. Maybe we’ll be able to get the tree up this weekend. What about you guys? There’s some great TV on to enjoy while you decorate or not. So we’re here to give you our fantastic opinions on what you should be watching. 😉 *grin*

I’m so excited. Tonight is the fall premiere for Rizzoli & Isles on TNT. This has been one of my favorite shows since it first started, so I’m thrilled it’s back. On the summer finale, bodies were popping up all over town sealed inside statues. It was pretty gross when the statue started bleeding… The killer turned out to be Maura’s new beau, guest star Eddie Cibrian, who was killing women because of his mother. He had his sight set on Maura, but Jane and crew got there in time to save her. Aside from the case, Frankie wasn’t made a detective—that honor went to the cop who had been undercover when she moved in across from Jane and started playing Frankie and Frost. And finally, Lydia went into labor, and that’s when Tommy found out he was most likely going to be a father.
I can’t wait to see how the story line with Tommy and Lydia plays out and see if Angela is able to be a grandmother finally or not—and whether or not she can put aside her feelings for Lydia, who is the woman Angela’s husband cheated with.
On tonight’s episode, “Class Action Satisfaction,” Jane and Maura must delve deep into an investigation involving a mysterious poisoning at a cafe. Stanley reveals his true feelings during an investigation. Tommy and Lydia enter into a custody battle. Korsak has an encounter with his ex-wife.

I’m so sorry this is up so late compared to when it normally goes up. I can only claim exhaustion, as I went to bed at like 10:00 last night and was too tired to write up the top part & my part before then. Oops. 🙂 But I’m caught up on sleep for the moment and ready for a new week of great TV. So for tonight, here’s what we think you should be watching. 🙂

Tonight is a double episode of Leverage, finishing with the summer finale. It’s been a pretty good season so far. I like that we got a hint at the beginning that Nate had something going on in secret that no one else but Hardison knows about, but it hasn’t taken over the entire season. Each episode has been what I love to see: the team helping an individual with a problem. I think my favorite episode, though, was last week’s, when Parker was laid up with a bum knee while the rest of the crew went overseas to do…something. LOL Parker figuring everything out on her own about what she first thought was a gang of thieves set to rob the jewelry store across the street but then later having to rescue her waitress from the bar—who by the end of the episode had turned into a friend—was fantastic, and I loved how we saw her figure out each little problem with the customers in the bar and do her best to fix them. I adored everything about that episode. I don’t know when Leverage will return with the rest of the season, but I know I’m going to miss it. 🙁
On tonight’s first episode, “The Rundown Job,” the members of the team are recruited by Colonel Vance in order to quickly find a way to stop a highly-dangerous and elusive terrorist before he manages to unleash a deadly biological attack on the nation’s capital.
Then on “The Frame-Up Job,” a valuable painting is stolen and Sophie is believed to have been involved in the intricate heist to attain it, so Nate decides to use everything within hi power during an investigation in order to find the true culprit behind the crime.

Tonight, I’ll also be watching/DVRing The Great Food Truck Race, Iron Chef America, All American Handyman, One Car Too Far, & Copper.

How was everyone’s Saturday? I had a pretty good day. Caught up on some sleep while my husband & son went to the movies in the morning, then played cards with my husband in the afternoon & again after dinner. I love long weekends! Especially because that means the weekend doesn’t end today. So check out what we think you should be watching tonight…and since you can stay up a little late, enjoy it all! (By the way, I’ve seen the season premiere of Castle, and there’s just one word for it: BRILLIANT. That is all.)

Last week’s Leverage spent about half the time as a flashback, much like the episode featuring Hardison and Parker as characters other than themselves & Van Gogh’s painting. Last week had to do with the famous D. B. Cooper hijacking case. McSweeten, the real FBI agent the team encountered in season 1 and a few times since, needed help to solve the one case his father, a former FBI agent, never could. Nate & Sophie played McSweeten’s parents, Parker played the stewardess in the plane that Cooper gave the hijacking note to & Eliot played the stewardess’s husband who became McSweeten Sr’s partner – and that’s who they determined was the hijacker. It was an fun episode, although I didn’t like it as much as I liked the Van Gogh ep simply because of the parallel to the Hardison/Parker relationship. And once again, I’m curious as to Nate’s (& Hardison’s) secret. Gah.
On tonight’s episode, “The Real Fake Car Job,” the crew decides to forge a story about an incredibly rare care in order to convince a Wall Street fraud to put an end to the loophole that is keeping him from being prosecuted by the courts for the crimes he has committed.

Here in Ontario, it has been ridiculously hot—to the point where you don’t even want to move because the effort is only going to make you pour sweat. I suppose it would help if my air conditioner was working, but hopefully by week’s end, I’ll have some working air. To keep my mind off the sweltering, disgusting, nauseating heat (what can I say, I hate the heat)—let’s take a look at what you should be watching tonight.

Speaking of hot, let’s talk about True Blood. What a season it has been so far! I say that not in a great way for once—what is with the weird fairy story line? I am hating it. The werewolves and pack stories are also really slow moving and boring to watch. If it wasn’t for the hot cast that makes me hot as can be every time they walk across my screen, I’d have stopped watching this season already. It must be bad if I, of all people, am willing to jump ship. Let’s hope the last couple episodes of the season are stellar and earn me back.
On tonight’s episode, “Everybody Wants to Rule the World,” the start of the vampire holy war is a cause for celebration for Salome and the Chancellors, but Eric may decide to go AWOL; Sookie learns more about her parents’ death from a deceased relative; Andy and Jason investigate the rise in shifter murders.

Tonight, I’ll also be watching/DVRing The Great Escape, Iron Chef America, and Drop Dead Diva.
