It’s Monday, and there is a HUGE pile of new episodes, including a ton of finales, on tonight! Speaking of finales, did you watch last night’s Survivor? I was so thrilled to see Rob win, not only the $1 million itself, but the Spring $100k, too. And can I just say… Wowzers, Grant? So HOT! lol Anyway, that was last night. Jenny’s Choice #1

There are two nights I’ve been looking forward to for at least a month, ever since I started hearing tidbits of information from the season finales. Tonight, and Thursday, for the season finales of Castle and Bones. I seriously am not sure I’ve EVER been this excited about an episode as I am for these two finales. Tonight’s episode of Castle promises to be one of its most exciting shows ever in its three seasons. The episode promises to have a huge effect on the Beckett/Castle relationship, but in the end, will it be good or bad? I don’t know, and it’s killing me, I swear!

Tonight, Beckett’s investigation into her mother’s death is reactivated when a professional hitman with knowledge of the murder stages an escape from a hearing. Evidence leads to a deeper conspiracy, involving a mysterious figure and a shocking and deadly end.

If We Controlled Your Remote… 4/25/11

Ugh, well, Happy Monday to everyone. Josh is home sick again, with a stomachache and…I’ll be nice and say intestinal issues. lol Poor kid. So I got up late, am running behind, and therefore, the Remote post is late. Sorry! On a good note, I get to go see one of 2 showings this weekend of Top Gun, one of my favorite movies of ALL TIME, because of the 25th Anniversary. Plus, I get a theatre-sized Top Gun poster! That’s theatre-size Tom Cruise! And as my husband pointed out, that’s young, HOT Tom Cruise, not creepy, old scientology Tom Cruise! *laugh* Anyway, on to what we think you should be watching tonight.

Jenny’s Choice

There isn’t a lot on tonight, unfortunately. But I’m definitely looking forward to watching the new episode of Better with You with my husband. I’ve seen tonight’s episode already, but he hasn’t, and it’s a good one! When the show first started, I wasn’t sure I was going to like it. In fact, when I saw the pilot before it aired on TV, I *didn’t* like it. But then I watched it again when it came out, and it has now become one I genuinely look forward to each week. I love something about each of the characters, and that’s kind of rare for me. Normally, there is at least one character I don’t particularly like, or find more annoying that anything, but not on this show. Also, if you are a fan of Dancing With the Stars, you’ll want to stick around for tonight’s ep of Better with You, because my fave pro dancer on that series guest stars on this one!

On tonight’s episode, Casey realizes that Mia has two left feet during their first wedding dance lesson, and he asks the dance instructor (guest star Derek Hough) to keep his secret after bombing his moves. Ben asks Larry King for advice on handling a spat he had with Maddie about Vicky and Joel. (Yes, it’s really Larry King. lol)

If We Controlled Your Remote… 4/18/11

Sorry this is up so late today. I absolutely crashed last night before I had a chance to write this up, then I woke up right before lunch, so I’m just now getting to it. Late or not, there’s lots of great TV on tonight–so much that Megan and I both are recommending multiple shows! So check out what we all think you should watch!

Jenny’s Choice #1

Last week was the first episode of Chuck in a couple of weeks, and ratings were down. Did you forget to watch? It was a big episode, what with the Volkoff father & daughter returning. C’mon, people! This is a great show with an even more fantastic a cast. It needs our support! Tonight’s episode promises to be huge, too, as Gary Cole returns as Sarah’s father, and Clare Carey (who you might recognize from Jericho) is back as Alex’s mother.

On tonight’s episode, Chuck and Sarah find that they have been conned out of their wedding money, and the only man they feel they can turn to is Sarah’s conman father. Morgan lays the pressure on Casey, trying to make him face the mother of his daughter.

If We Controlled Your Remote… 3/28/11

It’s the start of the week again, so let’s get ready for some terrific television! Our program choices are excellent (as always) this week, so be prepared for some sweet shows. No matter what kind of program sparks your interest, there will certainly be something worthy of you finding your way to the couch and clicking on that remote!

Jamie’s Choice

CBS recently premiered the new comedy, Mad Love, and it’s doing pretty well. With the likes of Sarah Chalke, Jason Biggs, Tyler Labine, and Judy Greer…what could be bad?

Tonight’s episode will provide you with the right dose of comedy you need. The gang is headed out on a road trip, when Kate accidentally crashes Ben’s car. Because of the accident, the group has to save their money for the repairs and shack up all together for the night. With the way Connie and Larry get along, you know things will get hairy very quickly.

Tune in to see who survives the trip on CBS at 8:30/7:30c.

If We Controlled Your Remote… 3/7/11

As I’m writing this, my eyes are hurting and my nose is running. I just finished watching Coming Home, which premiered Sunday night. My husband watched with me, and we both cried several times while watching the soldiers reuniting with their families. Seeing the kids’ surprise as their dads come into the room was heartwarming. But that was Sunday. There’s plenty of great TV on Monday, too, so let’s see what we think you should be watching!

Jenny’s Choice

In my opinion, CBS has another hit with their newest comedy, Mad Love. The cast is fabulous. Tyler Labine, Sarah Chalke, Judy Greer, & Jason Biggs really have a great chemistry. With the whole Charlie Sheen debacle going on and the future of Two and a Half Men up in the air, CBS needs this show to do well in the ratings. If you haven’t watched so far, you really should check it out. Tonight’s episode would be a great one to start with, too!

Tonight, Kate’s younger sister, Julia (played by Brittany Snow, Harry’s Law, American Dreams), makes her first visit to New York, and an overprotective Kate seems to forget that Julia is no longer a little kid; Larry and Connie decide that they will be each other’s wingmen at the bar one night.
