Jenny’s Choice
I’m enjoying this second story arc of the final season of Major Crimes more than I did the first, which seemed to drag out forever. Maybe because so far we’ve only had two episodes and I know we wrap this one up tonight with the double ep. Last week, another woman who was suing the Hooters (I mean Tackles… LOL) guy was murdered. Everyone thought she’d committed suicide because she’d been depressed. Turned out she’d been drugged and raped, and although the squad thinks the Tackles guy did it, she didn’t tell anyone who it was, so they have no proof. They did figure out that the SA beside the cities in the lawyer’s notes didn’t stand for what they thought it did. Instead, it stood for sexual assault. They believe that’s why the attorney was killed, because she was finding other victims and was going to go after the Tackles guy for the rapes, not just the lawsuit that was public knowledge. Of course, now they have to prove it.
Then there were the B stories… Sharon had another health scare, where she swooned and nearly went down at the crime scene. In the end, she and Andy walked in to see another specialist. Eek. And Rusty gave Gus the check and letter of recommendation from his former boss, but Gus didn’t react how Rusty thought he would. There was a lot of yelling, etc. And Gus finally admitted that they’d only slept together twice. Personally, I don’t think Gus was fired because he slept with the boss. I think he got fired because after he slept with him, he felt guilty and started performing badly at work, which then got him fired. But I guess we’ll see! We get two episodes tonight to wrap up the Tackles story, but I’m sure we’ll see some of Sharon’s health and the Rusty/Gus saga as well!
On tonight’s first episode, “Conspiracy Theory, Pt 3,†while working two seemingly connected murders, the division suddenly uncovers a series of sexual assaults against servers from Tackles. As a new theory about the killer gathers steam, however, an unexpected twist throws Major Crimes off course and Sharon off-balance.
Then in the second episode, “Conspiracy Theory, Pt 4,†Sharon must make decisions related to her ongoing health problems while arriving at the solution of a series of murders and sexual assaults.
